Kevin understand that if the actor doesn't feel good in the role he plays, the movie won't work. That's what make him a great producer.. right now, one of the best in the world.

Feige is such a goddamn genius for that realization about how Thor = Chris Hemsworth by 2015. Shows how fluidly and fundamentally he understands the MCU and its appeal. He knows exactly how to straddle the line between honoring the comic books’ stories and iconography while quietly throwing out anything that would be too trite or confusing for a movie, and breathing new life into characters like they did with Thor to keep audiences interested. Nothing but awe for this man.

Comedy is also one of the problems with the MCU. It's put in the wrong order. When you put comedy as a crescendo to a dramatic scene, you ruin the whole point of that scene. Unless, of course, your intent is to make a spoof, in which dramatic and comedic are woven together.
Yeah and also with DC films. They never got humour right in Aquaman and Shazam. Marvel had their best in humour and nowadays the humour is not natural but forced.

The Guardians comedy doesn't work for me. I hate how much they changed Drax from the first GOTG movie...
You ain't never lying. He instilled fear in others and dominated others and now by dumbing him down, he's just the comedy relief.
That is not because of Kevin. James was the one to do that. Kevin gave him the full control over Gotg 2.

Why does the mcu and marvel scare you for the future of film?
Because they're not even films, they're products. Marvel literally use a formula to make their movies WTF. What happened to creativity and imagination? and the reason why this scares me is because marvel movies are very successful, this will lead to other studios copying them and deciding to make formulated movies as well. As a result, all imagination and creativity is slowly going to be sucked out movies and we're just going to get soulless movies that have no heart and a nothing but a money making machine
