On October 27, 2018, BAFTA Los Angeles honoured Kevin Feige with the Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment, presented by American Airlines and Jaguar Land Rover.
Jon Favreau was there in person to pay tribute to the producer of his films Iron Man & Iron Man 2.
Previous recipients include Kenneth Branagh (2017), Samuel L. Jackson (2016), Harrison Ford (2015) and Judi Dench (2014).

No matter how successful Mcu is Kevin Fiege never badmouthed Dceu or any of its movies. He also praised WonderWoman.

Why would he? He's a comic book fan first, regardless of company wars. He loves both DC and Marvel, was mentored by Richard Donner who directed the Superman movies which basically kickstarted the modern superhero movie genre. He's good friends with Geoff Johns who is one of the best comic writers at DC right now. I wish more fans were like Feige and Johns, instead of constantly bickering and bad-mouthing the rival companies.

BAFTA has done more to recognize variety better than the Oscars. With too many Golden Age Hollywood panders, biopics, historical event/time period, and poorly addressed social issue movies being nominated, this "Marvel Formula" is more refreshing than the concepts you see at the Oscars.

Dude's living the dream now. So proud of him. I remember when I was younger, I kept seeing his name on countless Marvel movies like the X-Men movies and the Spider-Man movies and now he's THE guy. crazy.
Thats where he learnt what he needed about the business, besides being a comic fan at heart. He observed all the mistakes made by the studios in other Marvel films for 10 years and knew how best to adapt comic characters to the big screen.

Have you seen the interview of Infinity war's writers (Marcus and Mcpheely) in Kevin Smith channel. There they said how Kevin Feige always casually gave ideas about what the next movie should be about, which eventually led to billion dollar ideas.

The MCU and Kevin feige r 2 things that can’t be forgotten. Something like this can never be recreated, no matter how much DC, WB or universal want to copy. Kevin is such a role model, he’s never insulted DC and then u see DC people insulting Marvel like Zack Snyder the Douche. Marvel for life!!!

John Carter cause they're the most iconic example of trying to blatantly rip off Marvel's ideas without giving their universe any time at all for a long-arching story arc buildup, character development or even an established tone, and failing miserably at it. When we look at Feige's success, it's unavoidable to compare it to DC's resounding, reoccurring and lasting failures, as they will never come close to being the gold standard in entertainment that Marvel Studios is today. When praising Feige, you gotta remind people of how everyone else in Hollywood - particularly the people running DC, who are about as intelligent as monkeys - pales in comparison to his talent, passion and profits.
