He worked his way up too. He was a lower-level associate producer on the Sam Raimi Spider-Man and Bryan Singer X-men films. Eventually Marvel picked him up after both those franchises got ran into the ground, while he himself had gained a reputation for knowing what the f#$& he was doing.
he is also very smart. he wasn't necessarily a huge Marvel comic fan. he knew more about how to make movies. he saw the potential of the comics to build his star wars universe.

I think in addition to the Stan Lee tribute, Captain Marvel had his best cameo. The smile he gave with Carol Danvers smiling in return was perfection, when in other circumstances it would have been a shrug your shoulders cameo of Stan's.

I just finished watching Captain Marvel and it’s a TOTAL MISSTEP. It’s like the writers of that film didn’t watch any others or even read the comics. It’s that bad.
fusionaut23, don’t get me wrong... I still trust in Kevin Feige. He’s done an AMAZING job so far. Maybe it’s just the character? I don’t know... this one just felt off. I’m sure the studio will fix it in the future. I have no doubt that End Game will be a fantastic film, the Russo Bros have earned the benefit of the doubt. Upcoming slate of films are promising. Maybe the Captain Marvel sequel will be better?

I love how Kevin Feige is excited about bringing the F4 and X-Men into the MCU because it means they have access to the stories from the comicbooks. This is a creator who loves these stories and wants to tell them to a wider audience with respect to the source material. We'll always have great Marvel movies with someone like Feige at the helm.

The MCU is already too bloated with characters. Adding 4 from F4 and 50 X-Men into this MCU is just too much. In the comics, it used to be they were almost in their own little worlds and only rarely would interact. X-Men would be their own universe, pretty much, and they have better characters and storylines than the Avengers do.

If you are afraid that Captain Marvel will steal the show, remember which movies the Russo brothers made and also how much of a big deal Black Panther was in Civil War or Infinity War. They know who the main characters are, don't worry, we're in the best hands possible!

Suite Life of Thor and Loki
Watching this brought me back to the moment in my first viewing of Infinity War and my theater was so estatic at nearly the whole film. Like clapping when Peter got his Iron Spider suit, him becoming an Avengers thanks to Tony, Cap coming in to help Vision and Wanda, Steve saying he knows a place and then the Wakanda theme music plays, Thor dropping into Wakanda with Groot and Rocket sounded like a concert, and for ALL OF IT to be stripped away in replacement of the whole theater gasping in shock and "Oh no's" when a character died. Perfect.
Whoa! A story about Loki, Mr. Feige? You have one person watching the Disney+ already 😊👍

@@DFMoray Yeah, for sensitive audience members, who have been out of touch with geek culture anyway. Film is a different monster, and one movie isn't going to mark a franchise's end. The comics have been in trouble long before the social paradigm we have today. One advantage Feige has is that he's adapting story arcs that have been established before 2010.

Thanks for making an Awesome Universe. I can't wait for potential future films with characters like Sentry, Namor, Hercules, Wonder Man, She-Hulk, Fantastic 4 and others.
I personally wish that the DCEU and Dark Universe films had worked too cuz those were legitimately great ideas. I hope someday that Kevin can help WB and Universal by giving them some tips for when they eventually try again. Cinematic Universes are awesome and most likely will never go away.

Ryan Gg they’re referring to the fact that people were bombing captain marvels user review page with bad reviews (captain marvel somehow accumulating more reviews in one day than infinity war did in its entire theatrical run). Rotten tomatoes called it a bug and deleted them.
I love listening to Feige and the Russos. They're such great storytellers.
I'm excited for end-game, I just hope that it's a team effort and not a singular effort cuz to me it would suck if Captain marvel only defeated them or if Thor only. I hope it's a team effort.

I read the original infinity gauntlet comic, I knew and was going to be highly disappointed if infinity war didn’t have Thanks snap half of existence away... but I still felt it while watching it 😂. Reading it on paper and watching the characters for years fade was a different experience. I teared a little bit, I won’t lie lol

It should be attached to every digital print, unless there's some severe, rare localization issue (which I cannot begin to imagine) which makes them remove it.
