By your response i really don't think you understand how this product is applied Paul. Tape is friction applied to the rod blank. The end of the wrap you apply tape ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE END OF THE WRAP. The rod wrap has no adhesive on it. I think i did 2 or 3 of these vids over the years from the USA distributor. Guys in yaks like this style as they tend to be wet most of the time. And the now thicker blank is easier to grip & hold during a strike. Every 5yr i change out my plugging rods with new wraps. To see the damage that the uv creates is like WOW!
