That battery is torched, only had 6 volts. 12.6 volts is what you're looking for. All computers on vehicles rely on a 12-volt source. At around 8 volts and you'll start seeing communication issues. Alternators typically charge from 13 to 14 volts. Both terminals need replacing as well.
You do the oil change labor for free?!! I’ve been mobile for 8 yrs now. I tell everyone I only do oil if I’m there doing another service and I charge $65 for less than 5qts if I provide the oil and filter. $65 oil filter and labor. Still not fun to do but it’s a service that needs to be offered. Clean up sucks and I always waste brake cleaner. The customer doesn’t see the value in my $5 can of brake cleaner.
He was saving them money. It's just a battery, so it's better to buy the battery at a store that does *free* install rather than paying and waiting for him to get it and install it.

Here's one for mechanics. I got a 2004 Buick Century that I have zero intentions of getting rid of. After driving it for about 10 minutes, a vibration starts around 40mph. It gets worse & worse the longer I drive. Steering wheel wobbles, seats wobble, when I hit the breaks, you can feel the pulsing in the pedal & in the vehicles speed. It is not the roads I am driving on. Car has newer tires, newer breaks. ONLY does it when it warms up. I can pull into 7-11 & get some coffee, come right out & drive & it's fine, nice & smooth. I have ruled out tire bulges & bubbles, wheel weights, & roads. The steering is tight with no noises & car drives 100% normal until this happens. The trans shifts normal, no slipping. I thought it was a torque converter issue, but when I hit the breaks after a while, it's just ike driving a car with a warped break rotor. But it's 100% fine & smooth for the first 5 or 10 minutes & I can drive without even using the breaks at all, but it will gradually start shaking more & more. Haven't had much time to investigate, but it's pretty strange to me. Anybody got any clues? ( I don't think it's a motor or trans mount either )

Honest work.Quite easy work.Pal.
Haha
She needs a new boyfriend he can’t even tell if a car has a dead battery 😂
It’s her younger brother
This is just dumb new bf i agree bet chat will be hitting it right
That's the new generation everywhere these days,if you try to explain something about cars, they tell you , that 's what garages are for.Makes me feel old.
Americans are so nice
Yes they are , specially before they’re pissed off , specially the kkKaren’s and the white supremacy guys 🇺🇸😖
Lol you have a bad habit throwing stuff. If you treat it like its brand new it will last like its brand new
nice couple they are
New cable clamps and make sure that you tighten them. Battery seems fine though.
@@M4sterT3ch You are right. Had to watch it again. I missed that.
90% of time just buy a gallon superclean for 12 bucks dilute it in a spray bottle. Saves hundreds
If I were you I would tighten the cables on the battery
I would clean you ears out
Did you tighten the battery terminals
They were already maxed out so no point unless he stuck something between the terminal and post as a temporary fix. They need to be replaced.
So the dude can't jump start a car without an AC outlet?
What's that all Aboot ? Take off Eyyy
I'm in moore where are you located i needed a radiator replacement and associated hose + some other usual weird electric codes. 2004 sub z71 5.3
Why didn't you just service, battery and everything? No time?
He was saving them money. It's just a battery, so it's better to buy the battery at a store that does *free* install rather than paying and waiting for him to get it and install it.
Clean & tighten those jenky battery terminals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Batteries just dont last like they used to. They have about a 4-5 year lifespan these days.
More like 3
Since the pandemic it seems there are a lot of reports of new batteries being junk. I have a '24 Corolla and the battery only has 360 CCA. Not much for cold winters around where I live. Probably within 2 years I'll swap it out for a normal 650 CCA as I don't have much trust in the OEM.
my duralast gold is 6 years old still good
My 2005 Ranger Duralast Gold lasted 1 and a half years. My 2000 grand marquis 4 year replacement Wal- mart battery is on it's third year. My 1993 Mustang 5.0 Autozone commercial battery lasted 13 years. A lot of variables.@@TempoMontages
The loose cables are why that battery discharged.
you need a noco boost jump pack
Those suck. Mine broke so fast.
@@jimmycorbett4611 I disagree. I’ve had mine for over a year and it’s the best I’ve ever used.
@@xpheonixgamingx325 guess they need better quality control then.
@@jimmycorbett4611 youre the only person ive ever heard that has had a bad experience with one lol.
Wholesome vid!
You should do a day in a life video
They ain’t Canadian without a front plate
Alberta doesn't use front plates
Is their a diff vid of the full service lol
This guy needs to open up his own shop
You need to come to California we have the nicest.... 😅
Oh right especially southern Cali. Waiters were even rude & expected a good tip. And god help you on the freeway, a turn signal is a sign of weakness there. But hey at least they have the weather. I’ll take Oklahoma any day. 😂
Have a great day...eh?
first call should deliever the battery to you.
Hi,I own a 06 charger r/t hemi ,25k on the clock .had the car 5 years now with absolutely no problems. But I now have an issue where the gas pedal doesn’t return all the way,if I blip the throttle it sticks on high revs and have to pull it back with my foot!I’ve wd40 what looks like the pivot point but to no avail,as it’s an electric throttle ( no cable from pedal to throttle body like my 76 capri)any potential problems with throttle body surely wouldn’t effect gas pedal would it?any ideas? Thanks, and regards from England,( where petrol is$7.50 approx a gallon!!!)
I don’t know what the problem is with your charger, but I sure do know the ford capri is a sweeet ride
Yeah my man, it’s mad to think it was built when I was 16!64 this June!! it’s a keeper,Mk 2 3 litre ghia in gold .very rare now in uk.gas pedal on charger freed off now, but going to buy spare pedal and sensor in case it dicks me about again.taking it to Holland and Germany in June (childish I know, but I’ve always wanted to stretch it’s legs on a German autobahn with no speed limits!!)cheers , from England Vince
you smashed for payment...? that's crazy
Charger name?
In all fairness going on a road trip my man should have made sure not to leave the door open all night after a night of partying 😂 jk I just think this could have been the issue unless she needed a night light sleeping in car 😂
Damn Tulsa is looking worse than OKC.
How’s a guy not know how to start a battery 😂 so embarrassing
When yo man dont fix cars he gotta go. Soon u gonna have to fix his car for him. Good job man.
Lots of people have no mechanical aptitude, barely pass the peg shape test
Not a man thing, everyone should know basic car maintenance if they plan on owning a vehicle. men and women should learn how to cook, clean, fix things and maintain their car.
hey whenever ur in florida are u able to do my timing and my timing belt?
I'm looking for a Subaru repair you did
if you ever feel worthless, remember this girls boyfriend couldnt even change a battery
They're literally on vacation tho
@@RIPdBOON not sure what that has to do with anything
Oil change for free!! How does that work. In the UK, oil change and filter are a main cost in a basic service.
So here's the deal.... he doesn't charge to change the oil if he's already servicing the vehicle (labor) but they pay for the oil/filter
is there a way to rotate your videos to landscape?
How u don’t know u got a dead battery cuz of the cold and u from Canada 😂😂
Her BF just lost his man card 🤣
They both earned a ♿ placard
He’s her younger brother
What state does he work out of? I have a 2016 f150 that needs a radiator replaced in OKC
Tulsa I believe.

@@shandyz71As an American, it isn't creepy. This is him being purely desperate because he doesn't have a gf, doesn't get laid EVER, and has a mind that revolves around something he just doesn't have in his life. Its sad but there are tons of them here in the USA. Their brains aren't capable of learning and building themselves to be a better person so the opposite sex might actually have interests in them but instead they usually end up paying for itch that will always scratch.
