Apologies guys for the Early viewers, there was a Typo in the title and description. This video is for the Mini 4 pro!
I have used cruise control a few times, Your vid. shows why I should get into the habit of using it more. Huge difference. I have often noticed this with the active track.👍
Thanks 🙏 glad you found it useful 👍
Good idea using the Cruise Control, don't use Cruise Control much but maybe I should - many thanks for taking the time to make this video Nobby
It’s a great feature Shaun I use it a lot 👍 thanks 🙏
Much better Nobby 👏👍
Thanks Jim 👍
Good information. Thanks
Thanks Terry 👍
Brilliant idea mate
Thanks Johnny 👍 one of my favourite features
I love using cruise control
Me too. One of my favourite features 👍
Very good tips Nobby. Thank you for sharing. Happy to see that you have had a clear day (or partial clear day). Cheers, Bob
Thanks Bob 👍 yes had a few dry spells but not many 😁
Well you did it again. Lol. I love the cruise control feature man. It’s crazy how many uses you just showed for it that most of us would’ve never even considered. Awesome stuff, man!
Hahaha Kevin. Like you said it’s handy having a Nobby in your pocket 😂 thanks man

Super cruise control use
One of my favourite features 👍
Great video!
Thanks 🙏 glad you found it useful 👍
Great video, I have not had a chance to fly my mini 3 pro for a few months, I thought the mini 3 pro only had cruise control when in hyperlapse.
Exellent if it has cruise control on video now 👍
Apologies, this is for the mini 4 pro. There was a typo error in the title and description. Thanks
@nobby-green No worries, you did get me all excited, though lol. Thanks
Great tips for the Mini 4 Pro, but not for the Mini 3 Pro which does not have Cruise Control (except in Hyperlapse). The Mini 3 Pro is shown at the beginning of the video (and is in the title of the video), but the screen shown in flight is not a Mini 3 Pro. The M3P does not have Cruise Control, so it will not shoe "Aircraft in Cruise Control" on the screen. The M3P does not have home point AR and does not show the "H" marking the home point on the screen, like is shown. The M3P does not have "Auto", "Manual", and "Parallel" ActiveShots submenu.
Indeed! But looks like an interesting feature, cruise control and home point indication is a lack on the Mini 3 Pro.
Apologies, this is for the mini 4 pro. There was a typo error in the title and description. Thanks
No worries @@nobby-green these are still GREAT tips.

EXCELENTE VÍDEO, SEU NOVO AMIGO POR AQUI PAULO DRONE, BOM FINAL DE SEMANA E ATÉ O PRÓXIMO EPSÓDIO, JÁ INSCRITO E ATIVEI O SININHO
obrigado e bem vindo ao canal 👍
Great video, can you use cruise control with Spot light mode ? The drone would "cruise", but keep the subject in view. I will need to try this next time I get out.
Apologies, this is for the mini 4 pro. There was a typo error in the title and description. Thanks
Good Job Nobby! How on earth did you figure this out?
Hey Randy. I’ve been doing this a while. You should also check out my spotlight video 👍 thanks
What’s the bag you have over your shoulder? Would you recommend it? I use the one that came with the Mini 4 Pro Flymore Combo, and it works fine, but it’s very tight, with no spare space for anything else.
It’s the fly more bag that you can get with the Mavic 3. I can fit both the classic and the mini 4 pro in the same bag. I managed to pick one up on eBay. They are excellent and turn into a rucksack too👍 amzn.to/3TxShKb you can buy them separately from DJI
does the mavic pro 2 have criuse control maybe on an update ?
Not sure to be honest but the original Mavic pro had airplane mode which was a form of cruise control 👍
'Cruise Control' on the Mini 3 Pro??
Apologies, this is for the mini 4 pro. There was a typo error in the title and description. Thanks

There's a lot better way! IMO. GPS follow-me. Not always. But often.
It’s not perfect in my opinion 👍
@@nobby-green It depends on what you call perfect. People cycling around the world never use DJI's active-track. It's a great feature to get certain dynamic shots. But it just isn't reliable enough. Either it can lose you and you have to ride back again. Or you risk crashing into something despite obstacle avoidance. You're not going to risk the only drone you have.
In the open field follow-me works just as good if not better. And because you can put it in front of you in view you don't need obstacle avoidance. It will follow in a very predictable way at any height or distance. I mean try watch a phone screen while riding a bike. Or use the touchscreen with that inner outer circle thing. I like to see where I am GOING.
Also Follow-me can work perfect on a GPS $50 drone. It's only a couple lines code in the app. Unfortunately very few are programmed correctly. My $130 drone does everything right. I'm still looking for a newer model with better gimbal and camera.
As important as the tracking/follow feature itself is a homepoint-update. Without it any drone is completely useless as a tracking drone. Imagine having to race back up a mountain if suddenly Return-to-Home kicks in and you can't cancel it. This was the case with my F11. If I did try to fight the RTH is went all wacky. Shame as the follow-me worked and the video looked great for the price.
DJI makes great drones. But hiking/biking ain't their thing. For active-track to work you need really good cameras and use amounts of programming. It's kind of making a complicated machine to scratch your nose while you can just use your finger.
And maybe you have the chance to compare a DJI Mini 2 using Maven or Litchi or Dronelink and follow-me, with a Mini 3 Pro or 4 Pro using active-track? I think you'll be surprised by how user-friendly follow-me is in comparison. You push the follow-me button, use the sticks when and where you want, and at home you cut out the good bits.
Again active-track is great when used right. But it is not better and more usable in real life. A drone that kind of money should have both. But DJI refuses to give it to their costumers. In their mind people are too stupid to use their brain. Well they may be right. With active-track and obstacle avoidance they still manage to destroy it. I've seen them use the auto 360 mode missing cars and people by inches. Why that is supposed to be safer I have no idea.
