Hi sir i have a problem of my neo. When i tilt the gimbal the footge is not moving vertical straight line. It shifts to left to right causing wobbling video.

Thank you for this video. Is the Direction Track mode only accessible from the DJI Fly app on the mobile phone or is there a way to access it from the RC2 controller?
@@arniep740 it’s only available with the app however you can use tracking with the controller as you would the other drones. But remember it’s got no sensors 👍

@@Haniflylivewithme wind speed is found on UAV forecast. However I now use AirData for the weather 👍

Hi Nobbygreen. Just saw this video. Did you try this on your Air 2s? I didn't even know about this update. The last update for my Air 2s and RC controller was In May. RC v.01.03.1400 and fly app v.1.13.1. Thank you SOO much for all your videos !!!!

@@nobby-green I think so I was kind of in a hurry as had to go to work but later I shall have more time to fiddle
@@shanehumberstone5262 it’s the one on the left of screen connect once you click it it will ask to join the Neo WiFi. Can take a few seconds to show up in the app

When running, direction track from the side don’t work well. When I made a right or left turn…it drift from the side to followed me from behind me and stayed following me from behind.

I've been flying my Neo pretty much exclusively for the past few weeks. The low price encourages me to take risks I wouldn't do with the more expensive equipment. Thanks for your quality content.

It's supposed to be able to track from the side; not just the front. Indeed I did manage it once but not sure how I did it !! I've not seen anybody demonstrate it.

The Dji neo nothing special. If people have the high end drone, then you shouldn’t buy this drone at all. Because the drone that you have now is capable what Dji Neo could do. Dji mini 4 pro an other drone could do the same, and much better .😊

@@badboytommy187 neo is special for certain needs and and not all people need high end drones or expensive drone and carry it all the time, sometimes we need a a drone that easy to setup, fit in pocket and good decend video@photo for social media...i also have mavic 4 pro, but i prefer carry my dji neo for my hiking and offroad cycling for its robustness and crash resistant..
You are absolutely right, but I mean only the people have no drone for the first time buyer that is OK for the professional drone flyer I wouldn’t recommend to buy that little drone.
I have a DJI Mini 4 Pro and at this price I’m tempted to get a Neo for quick n dirty B roll. I’m sure others might be considering this as well during the holidays. With the full controller, it can do even more. Can’t compare but at this price, it’s a great option. Just wish it folded for a smaller footprint.
You are right I hope Black Friday come maybe the price drop I might pick one up myself🤔 so I could let my friend play with it and break it and doesn’t hurt because the price is cheap, lol

I started with a Neo in September ( most of my photography is from film, then DSLR and now mirrorless for the last 5 yrs).. however I found the Neo ok but not enough .. today I bought the mini 4 pro, now all set up and ready for a flight tomorrow weather permitting.. My first drone was the mini 4 pro and I loved it so I got an Avata 2 and that one is even more fun then they bring out the neo so naturally I brought the neo. Some people might think I need a therapist ? "ME" I think the drone is the therapist.

Hi Nobby tested my little Neo yesterday after the DJI update my original Neo was replaced because of the Direction track problem it crashed. I am still not convinced it’s perfect after the update but that’s my opinion.

@ Hi Nobby it’s better but the Hover Air 1 was spot on. I like the Neo though it’s so versatile I’ve even ordered the motion controller and the new googles for the FPV feel.

Nobby, when I got my Neo it had problems tracking me from the front, it kept moving from left to right, so the video of me looked like a spooky horror show.

Looks to be all working great 👍. We've had some lousy weather here lately. I was hoping to get some more practice in with my Neo, but I haven't had chance. Some sunny freezing cold days are due next week, so maybe then.

It’s not good weather here in N. Ireland. I was hoping to get out for an hour with the Air 3S after work today but the weather is crap. I’m hoping for better in the morning.

I was wondering, we have a fully closed airspace in Holland, new geofence maps indicate that I can only fly in a area like 60miles away.. Is does this update also fix the connection issues wile trying to download to your phone? Can't find decent info anywhere about all of the changes
If you are referring to the quick transfer of files from the drone that’s not been an issue?
@nobby-green yeah that is something that just doest work on my controller, Tried everything even with 4 different phones, also connect them with a USB cord.. Nothing. I use the computer to transfer them files.. Rest of it seems to work fine, never had any issues wile flying the little bugger 👍😅

I tried this new version of DJI Fly (...15) with my iPhone 14, it has several flaws, it is not working properly: the virtual sticks move up/down the screen when pressed, the App randomly blocks and you have to reset it, all in all they hurried to implement the full-screen option, which did not work in previous version (...14) and they have introduced some bugs !
