That was a really cool and useful trick. DJI has done some wonders with the active track abilities. I like how you can get the horizon in the picture when your subject is in the lower portion. Really cool perspective

Hi Nobby thanks for all the updates on both of the drones very helpful, I have few questions don’t know if you can help me out here, I have notice When filming in POI or freestyle in video recording on the Air 3 and Mini 4 Pro for 8 mins in 4K 30fps the recording stops at 5.25 min and creates a 2nd divide in the recording to complete the video of 8mins, is there any way to stop this happening to get a continue video play of 8 mins?
also I have notice video Cache is on! should this be turned on or off, and what Maximum should have this if have it turned on?
and notice another setting on the Air 3 set as off should this be changed on, under Camera, Frame Guide, screen size when filming in landscape, What does this do Thanks Ben
The sd card is formatted in exFAT and has a maximum of 4 gig. That’s why it splits your video. There is a seamless gap however. That’s how it works I’m afraid. Video cache is a lower resolution version of your recording. Framing is used as a guide for vertical shooting so what’s in the frame will be recorded. Hope this helps 👍

Good evening Nobby. Have u had any issues with the active track on the air 3 with the new updates. Was out tonight trying to use active track on a cruise line it was stationary useing poi the drone would not lock on for some reason had to use quick shots which worked no problem.?
@@slhk5848 not that I’ve noticed but I will check it next time I’m out. Was you too far away?
@nobby-green I tried it with 3 times zoom camera as well and it would not lock on. That could of been a factor I was to far away might need to keep that in mind cheers.
The drone detected that it was a boat when I draw the box on controller. But it wouldn't lock on for some reason but frustrating but we live in learn still got some good footage tho thanks for your response 👍
