Command to Enter Into CMD to retrieve your Windows key:
wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
In this video I'm going to show you how Your Windows License will expire soon pop-up window that you can sometimes get in Windows 10. If you look at the activation window you will also see that Windows 10 Home is activated using your organization's activation service. You can use the information in this video to try and recover the OEM marker Key embedded in the motherboard. You can access your Windows license key by pressing Windows key + x which brings up the command prompt and you want to select that as administrator. Then you enter the command that I have posted above at that point. The product key will be revealed. Copy the product key and enter it when you click change the product key in the update and security activation window. Hey Tim, your 1st method didn't work for me. The 2nd method with the generic key seems too thou, however I'd like to keep using my own windows key. Is there another way to your 1st method perhaps? Thank you in advance!

I tried both of the ways which are mentioned in your video. The first method did not work so I tried the second method. After I tried the second method there was a message saying that they can't reach the activation servers right now. So I tried again later but it didn't work. Can you help me?
I'm currently getting this issue just recently after moving my years old Boot SSD to a new computer. I've tried the command in command line as administrator and its not showing a product key. Any other possible fixes for it?

Windows doesn't ship a product key anymore. It is digitally licensed these days. There are methods to get your key though, like shown in the video.

Not sure what is going on with your Windows 10 but I have fixed this issue on several PC's and they are still activated and running strong.
I"m not either, but it's still doing it. Great video though
Could be because I triple boot from Grub (Win 10, Linux Mint & Android 7) but they're all on seperate partitions. Probably could be using an old corporate activation key (I have so many different OS keys, I forget which one I used sometimes.
