Regardless of what they've evolved into. And unfortunately their business model worked so well that it forced all other rc manufacturer's to follow suit. The hobby has suffered because of it even if sales are up the hobby has gone down hill since and it's a shame. So yes Traxxas is toy grade and the should have stayed in their own lane and neither you or I should support them or anyother company that cheapens their customers value.
Everybody can race toy grade cars, everything can be raced as long as more than one vehicle is present. Traxxas users race the slash in friendly races at their local track but that does not make them hobby grade, not even close. I am talking about licensed EFRA/IFMAR vehicles. Those vehicles are hobby grade cars that are solid, reliable and fast racing platforms. I am not familiar with traxxas history but to my knowledge they did not win a single world/european on/off road championship between the years 2006-2017. That is because they sell only rtr vehicles that are poorly designed on purpose so that they break and people invest more money over time for spare parts. Traxxas vehicles are slightly above toy grade. Every decent RC club driver will tell you this because it is the truth.

Also, if I'm correct, ur saying that even the rtr xmaxx is toy grade!?
@@mushyzachman7731 unfortunately they are in hobby stores and yes now there are aftermarket and replacement parts but they didn't start out that way and I would encourage people to not support a company that cheapend up the industry like traxxass did. Regardless of what they've evolved into. And unfortunately their business model worked so well that it forced all other rc manufacturer's to follow suit. So it's not just on traxxass but on the people who support them and if people want cheap junk to play with that's fine but I won't support it and I would encourage everyone to do the same if they have integrity. The hobby has suffered because of it even if sales are up the hobby has gone down hill since and it's a shame. I could go on but I digress, if you want it to be a specialty thing then not everybody can be in the club because there's just not enough to go around and it just devalues what you have and forces the manufacturers to make things cheaper and less durable. So yes Traxxas is toy grade and the should have stayed in their own lane and neither you or I should support them or anyother company that cheapens their customers value.
Traxxas is not hobby grade LOL.
I am not familiar with traxxas history but to my knowledge they did not win a single world/european on/off
road championship between the years 2006-2017. That is because they sell only rtr vehicles that are poorly designed on purpose so that they break and people invest more money over time for spare parts. Traxxas vehicles are slightly above toy grade. Every decent RC club driver will tell you this because it is the truth.

Do you even know what you're talking about?
Absolutely, unlike you.
You literally said traxxas is trash and gave no explanation why
And please answer with facts and not "traxxas is not durable etc."
l wouldnt even give 1 dolar to that toy grade rc
Same
They are both toys!you can't get in it and drive it
They did not say it's a toy there both toys but the box store ones are TOY GRADE, traxxas and axial brands are HOBBY GRADE,the difference: toys you forget in an hour
You can't drive a pair of scissors either...must be a toy.
Mario Man When the manual literally says ”this is not a toy”...
I can't drive my pet lizard... must be a toy
I cant drive my gun so it must be a toy. Better get my kid one then?
