More power, more torque, more payload, more tech. Better brakes and suspension, wider, and quieter cabin. Acoustic glass, heated and cooled seats, and you all want that for 15k less. GM and Ford aren’t any cheaper, if you want the goodies. I owned a 3rd gen Taco, and it was a dog on power. Most other midsize trucks have gone with the 4cyl. As well, and don’t think that’s gonna change. Everyone complained when Ford went to the eco boost, and it’s still around. Go buy a Maverick, or get a simple SR5 with no bells or whistles, that’s about as affordable as you can get. The Frontier isn’t without its problems either, for the people playing that tune. The price of vehicles in general have gone nuts. Truck owners in general sure like to bitch and moan, don’t we. lol.

As a 3rd gen Tacoma owner,I've test driven the new Tacoma it's way better all away around than my 2017 trd off road

I am lucky to keep my 21 sr5 4x4 and scoop a 4th gen sport premium. I love everything about this 4th gen.. 11k miles no issues..

@@noxnyc23yep. The Premium package is the way to go. 360 degree cameras, better seats, footwell.lights, ingress/egress lights on the bottom door panels, digital rear view mirror, acoustical glass on windshield and side windows, sound insulation under the hood, etc, etc, etc.

I bought my 2024 TRD Off Road, Premium package in the blue crush metallic on Oct 4th and I got $3440 off the MSRP. Shop around dealers. People are getting even more off the MSRP than I did.

The Tacoma beds are "composite". The skid plates are probably the same (or similar) material as the bed. I would trust it to be fairly durable for most consumer's needs.

If you off road you want the 17” wheels instead of the 18’s. More tire means more flex and that gives you better traction and a smoother ride. Any bigger wheels are for looks only.

Buy and keep it forever so you don’t need to worry about bad resale value now. If Turbo blows you just pay another 20k to fix it and continue driving. Beautiful sports car. If you live alone and have no friends, it doesn’t matter back seat is so tiny or not. Go and get it~

The red one is an SR not an SR5. The 5 doesn't have leaf springs.

If you have the opportunity to check the tires on that black second gen and respond to this comment. I would love to know what tires they are with the block white lettering please. Seems like you go to the Steeler quite often I would be greatly appreciative. Enjoying your content my friend

The used Taco I feature in my video, the dealership has already reduced the price to 49k. Cargurus is saying it is still overpriced by 1500. They aren't holding their value that's for sure.

Little also come with a new mortar and a transmission after about 20,000 me when you blow the original ones so you just want to make sure on your insurance you got good car rental coverage because you're going to need it !!! Get a good rental because get something you're comfortable with because you're going to be driving it a lot when you waiting for the new mortars in the Transmissions to get replaced in your Tacoma!!! Personally I would just skip the garbage and go buy a Ridgeline reliable durable don't blow Transmissions very good 3.5 V6 naturally aspirated mortar if you don't like quality don't buy the Honda!!! If you want to stick with the garbage you're at the right dealer!!!

Overpriced and they pulled a lot of things off of the SR5 it looks like SR fleet vehicle. I would never buy the first gen of anything and with all the recalls on these new trucks that's even more proof to hold out till they get all the NEW GEN issues resolved.

Nope. This truck is one that no Toyota fan I know of ever asked for. Nobody clamored for this. A product of Government standards and corporate greed / cheapness.

Yep, bought my 2006 Xrunner for 22,000 with no idiotic key fob, that makes it worth twice the value of a new Tacoma
