    Clear, concise and well structured opinion. I think you're bang on with 182 values. They're a type of car, the likes of which will simply never be made again. Small, light, gutsy with an NA motor and manual box in a fantastic chassis. As we move towards electrification, anything that's even remotely special and interesting to drive will appreciate. The 182 is right up there for driving enjoyment and the days of picking them up for pennies is long gone. A good one is tough to find these days. Good vid :)

    Great videos! I got my iceberg silver 172 in December 19. Was on 85k and standard other than exhaust and turinis. Paid 1700 for it. Its been a great car. Don't think I'd be able to pick it up now for the same price. Definitely going up in value.

      That strikes me as excellent value, particularly in today's market. Sounds like a good investment!

    My opinion is they’ll keep rising at a good rate. There will come a time soon when modern ‘performance’ cars will be so safe/tracked/controllable/soul less that the only way to get a true driving sensation again will be jumping in one of these little clios or similar 👍🏻

    • @BritishRacingGreens
      @BritishRacingGreens  3 года назад

      Absolutely, they deliver an engaging and unmolested driving experience which is increasingly hard to come by. I agree it will become more sought after.

    I think it is a model that is very undervalued but in a few years clio 182it will increase in value because it is considered one of the best hot hatches in history due to its chassis, weight and naturally aspirated engine of the kind that are no longer made.

    • @BritishRacingGreens

    Great video. 182s appear to be a good entry point for track car conversion. On the basis of supply v demand I do think values will start to creep up. I have seen very low mileage non Trophy 182s advertised at 8k+. Of course it's difficult to say if the owners actually realise those sort of prices.

    • @BritishRacingGreens
      @BritishRacingGreens  3 года назад

      Very true, hard to know what they actually sell for. Good point on track car appeal too, probably where a bunch of those SORN examples have ended up.
