  • My dad has been red green colourblind his whole life, but just got his first pair of EnChroma glasses to fix that. It takes a little while to kick in, but when it does he starts marvelling at how different his house looks.

I enjoyed this. I liked how it slowly dawned on him how much different colors looked. Slow awakening.

Well done to let him soak it in instead of constantly asking him "what colour is this" about everything. That happens quite a lot in these videos. They're all still great, but this is the best kind.

I love his honesty at the beginning, before it kicked in for him. This is proof that these really work and the people trying them on in these videos aren't acting.

I loved the way it went from disappointed to 'wait a minute' then 'wow'. I also loved your house with its warm colours, I am guessing that the colour hue changes as the day turns to darker evenings and, your husband seeing new colour palettes appearimg. I am so pleased for you both and all your family.

You and your dad are so cute - and i'm so happy that they worked for him, he was very geniune about it. Just this 7 minute clip gives me enough insight to tell that you have a lovely wholesome relationship. Cherish that, I lost my dad not long ago and miss him more than anything in the world.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I lost my dad very young, at 22 years old. I am 55 now. I was devestated. One is never prepared for what this kind of loss is like.
I thought that the memory would fade. I remember my dad so crystal clear. All I have to do is think of him, and I feel closer than if he were here. Not only did the memory not fade, but I feel every moment and the love so deeply every time I think of him, which has remained often. I have always wondered if he knew every time I have thought of him. I think he does. It is as if I feel him with me so close every time I think of him.
I was the one present when my dad took his last breath. I was staring in his eyes. He was in an hepatic coma. Medicine says it is impossible, but I know what I saw and experienced. My dad came out of the coma, said he loved me very clearly with his eyes, and me to him.
He then passed VERY peacefully. When he was gone, his spirit was MAGNIFIED in presence in the room. It was very powerful and peaceful. I KNOW this was true. It stayed. It wasn't fleetig. Nthing prejudiced me to imagining this. I had no preconditioning of any kind what to expect. If anything I feared it would be bad.
I say this to encourage you and anyone else reading that our loved ones are in joy when they leave and also that memory does NOT fade. He's still with you.

My response when watching you all is ... tears in my eyes ..
I am now in the early 50s, I found my son was color blind when he was 7 years old ... now he is 26 years old...
Likewise, I still can't afford to buy him a pair of color blind glasses until now, when I had an accident in 2011 and finally lost my job in 2013 ...
I am happy for all of you .... may God bless you all ..... take care of your health ...

Besides the cool EnChroma documentary I love your appreciation for artwork. I have a Nephew we got these for so I have watched these videos for several year now (is why I am chiming on this older vid) and just hope that these great people making this wonderful product will create contacts in the future so the people we love can enjoy the vibrance of color and light everywhere they go all the time.

There are two different kind of colorblind glasses. One is for outdoors and one is for indoors. He had the one for indoors which has brighter glass so that is why he didn't see a big difference outside.
