I have been lucky enough to see the world in full colour my whole life, but I have completely taken it for granted. These incredible videos of people seeing colour for the first time, and being so grateful and overwhelmed, make me hope I will never take colour for granted again. Tomorrow, I will love grass and the sky and flowers, and all colours, anew.
James Mulligan You should see the difference in my world and take the U out of colour. I spell it "color". Look weird doesn't it? To me "colour" looks weird.
What a joy to see the man looking at his artwork for the first time. Wonderful. And also, what a privilege to share these moments of wonder with these people.
I'm red-green colourblind. I got the outdoor glasses from EnChroma and they work perfectly. The colours are so much more vibrant. I now want to get the Indoor glasses as well.
ateb3 Colour blindness is passed down by the mother with her flawed x gene...usually only boys are passed this50% chance if she carries the gene Both my sons are colour blind...broke my heart!
Color blindness doesn't always mean you "can't see color".. Color blindness can mean you can't see certain shades and such or the colors aren't as saturated... this comment is kinda late and I'm not expert but yeah
4:58 this cut and this shot and what he says... gives me a serious Wes Anderson cinematography vibe. the wide, static shot, guy standing super calmly, saying, "....well that's remarkably different." very wes anderson.
It must be a rollercoaster of a ride for these people who have never been able to see real colour for what a lot of us take for granted. I think it's absolutely brilliant for them
Kid: Wow, this paper's orange instead of yellow. Mom: What color did it look like before? Kid: Wow, the sky's blue instead of white. Mom: Oh, was the sky a different shade of blue before? Lady, we can see you love your kid, but can you pay attention to what he's saying just a little bit.
Oh man this is incredible :D So interesting to see the different reactions, too. Just imagine seeing new colors for the first time in your life, it's mind boggling to even imagine :D
1.02 look mommy- honey iam not color blind lol such a cutey N am pretty sure a nice soul coz he wanted to share his excitement and happiness with his mom or maybe anyone mmmuuuaahhh
I am from Kyrgyzstan! Praise be to Allah sincerely glad for you! Every time I look at such emotions, I hear the words "Oh my God!" As the first time began to see the World! This is so touching! Tears in my eyes .....🌺🌸🍀💐🌸🍀🌺🌹💐
Im 11 years old and I am colour blind the kid in the first video is probably like 5-7 years old. Now I don't have colour blind glasses and this just makes me sad and happy at the same time.
When I watch these vids I feel so ungrateful because until a couple years ago, I never appreciated the beauty of nature...I'm not color blind, so when I see people be so grateful and emotional over something I've always seen and didn't appreciate
I found the last video wonderful, a parent who chose to purchase these glasses for her son rather then herself so he could see colour....just wonderful
We take for granted all the beautiful colors that make up our world and then..... they see the very same colors they never could have imagined. I would cry too.
I'm happy for this people but I have a (stupid ??) question; how do they know when it's blue or royal blue for example, or orange when it used to be yellow in their opinion? I undestand that the glasses are made for that persons particular colorblindness but for example the first kid in this video knowing straight away purple from white how does he know what purple is? I really wanted to know and curious on how it works, it's not an argumentation or something. Thanks.
We see colors. Just not as many different ones. Like i can see stop sign red and green grass but when they are shades off the starting blending in with other colors. Like, if you see a million different shades i suspect i may only see 100,000. Many colors look the same.
They need to take these people to a still lake that reflects nearby trees during the sunset if possible, imagine seeing that In full colour for the very first time
whoever said "its a really sad book" someone give him the biggest medal
That's the guy who should be writing for comedy scripts for SNL & replace all the lameness that's overcome them!
Loved the humor
Good one xD
The man got roasted 😂
I laughed so hard, it's the joke someone in my family would have made.
The first kid is just too cute.
"The sky is blue!"
Almost makes me wish I'd been born color blind & then get a pair of these glasses! We don't appreciate the senses we have.
thanks its me
@@ametambush9785 Really like your reaction! I'm glad that you see color now.
I tought the sky was white.
Thanks to the tec. for all good things.
But some people uses it for evil things.

Mike Andsandrad in most parts of the world, that’s how you spell colour lol. Color looks weird and incomplete to me
@@paradisiak
Well in 'Merica its "color"
I absolutely love the bald dude's family "Do they make me look thinner?" *cries while looking at children's color book* "It's a REALLY sad book."
People need to stop pushing questions at them 1 second in.
Let them experience it, it takes time for the brain to adapt.
This is exactly I was thinking about watching such amazing videos.
What a joy to see the man looking at his artwork for the first time. Wonderful. And also, what a privilege to share these moments of wonder with these people.
The painting in the bedroom is beautiful
The first kid got his real color world...
amet here
"it's a really sad book")))
You only got to do that joke once,
it's perfect
that was so funny xD
🤣🤣
Who ever invented those, a million thumbs up!!!
I love the kid at the beginning. His reaction is so animated!!
He's so excited he even asks his mom to look forgetting she's not colorblind
I'm red-green colourblind. I got the outdoor glasses from EnChroma and they work perfectly. The colours are so much more vibrant. I now want to get the Indoor glasses as well.
Nicholas Anderson what's the difference between the two if I may ask?

I like this little guy and how he is freaking out!
That fucking kid in the first video asking his mom to look into the glasses. Too adorable.

Plaksa2004 being colour blind does not mean you see the world in black&white
Color blindness doesn't always mean you "can't see color".. Color blindness can mean you can't see certain shades and such or the colors aren't as saturated... this comment is kinda late and I'm not expert but yeah
"I'm glad they work on both of us, too!" Where'd you find such a great young man?!
The third one has amazing art in the house
I think the statement "oh my god!" is appropriate for this occasion!
😂😂 3:40 "it's a really sad book"
these are fake
"I'm glad they work on both of us too." Great kid.
6:13 The people here have a beautiful home, I hope my home is as cozy and vibrant as theirs someday.
Awww when he tried to give his mom the glasses! He made me cry! Too cute 💜💜
"That's like a dark pink." -- "We call that purple."
oh wow
as a colourblind person
its really dark blue
4:58 this cut and this shot and what he says... gives me a serious Wes Anderson cinematography vibe. the wide, static shot, guy standing super calmly, saying, "....well that's remarkably different." very wes anderson.
The whole world suddenly takes on an alien dimension when they put those glasses on for the first time.
It must be a rollercoaster of a ride for these people who have never been able to see real colour for what a lot of us take for granted. I think it's absolutely brilliant for them
Colorblind mom buys glasses for son, but not herself... I wanted her to have a pair
That's a mom for you!
thanks and respect all smart people for all amazing thing in our life
Валерий Вилков .I heard the idea started when someone saw orange by wearing sunglasses for snow skiing. Polarized glasses.

Adam Walker because is very colorful
1:54 a kid appreciating his megazord can't be more emotional than this...
The old man just acid posing “well that looks remarkably different” amazing
I think they tint the glasses because they know everyone is going to start crying
Or maybe that's why they suggest starting with the sunglasses.
Mom " Look at your robot" Kid "Arrrrghhhhh" laughed at that, his reaction was briiliant
The first kid NEEDS to go viral! Absolute pure joy!

"It's dunk blue! It's dunk purple!" Absolutely adorable! and "Dunk black!" Hahaha!
I just came across this video again, and I was going to comment, "Dunk blue! Dunk purple!" and here is my same comment from a year ago!
The best part is the first kid saying the GRASS
There are many wonderful things on RUclips , this must be one of the best .
4:30 I love the paintings in their house and I'm so happy that he gets to see them as they are meant to be seen.

One question: how they know what color is what when they never saw the right one before?
Ladisa Anindya Pujiastuti they may have learned the colour name but never fully perceive them.

That overreacting kid is amazing!... I’ll probably never have a kid but if I had one, I would want a son like him.
He'll certainly never depress people around him :-)

El fragmento del hombre con la cabeza rapada la mejor parte del video si dudas jajaja parece una familia muy muy divertida XD
Pretty awesome stuff! My soldier just got the same glasses and it was a wonderful time for us all. Thanks for sharing
Boy: It's yellow!
Silly Mom: You never saw that before?
Me: Isn't that why you bought him the glasses?
I think it's more dramatic when it is an adult that puts the glasses on.
