@@JayRebel he didnt say they were seeing for the first time pal and you kinda contradicted your entire point by saying a fucken person saw colour changes in the glasses, before you begin shunning people trying to help the colour blind why don't you look at yourself and see wtf you've done with your judgemental life for the greater good
I love that the young man at the end is drawn to the sunset. I never realized how much colorblind people miss out on the beauty that most people never stop to appreciate.
"It's just so awesome when life is fair" 12:33 Some things in this world are so beautiful and innocent. What a great place to see color for the first time too, that sunset.
These videos just show how humans sre intimately connected with nature, they are instantly focused on the grass, the trees, the sky if they are visible from where they're standing. The guy with the whole family having lunch had the emotion come through when he saw outside even if he held all the colours in his hands. Beautiful 💜💜💜
I've decided that they are the lucky ones because it's only they who get to see the world for the very first time again. They should really look at that as a blessing.
I am colorblind with "Strong Protan" diagnosis from EnChroma Test. I can imagine why those people cry. I cant see the forest as a normal viewer can see. I can only see a full brown collor. I cant see the differences of colors in your hair , on the leaves of a flower , on the grass. I usually see a mash of a color. We , the colorblind people, live our lives trying to detect other thinks on materials, like the shape , the smell , the sounds... I wish one day i can afford to buy those glasses for me too :D I wish you all the best! A colorblind artist from Greece!
not only have I become addicted to these videos, but now I'm also addicting to remarking about how they RE-MIND us of some of our 100+ SUPER POWERS that most of us all have and daily take for granted.... a real wake up call from life to enjoy the AWESOME ! B-) ... and BREATHE ... 2...3....4 omg! I get to breathe !
Whenever I see them full of joy for seeing the greater range of colors, I cry, not sure why, I guess because they just got a beautiful gift, not the Eyewear but the gift of colors, and reminds me how much I take for granted.
I can’t even understand how there are more colors than my eyes let me see. I have a mild red-green deficiency. But to me everything is completely normal. But to think that there are more colors out there than I know... just blows my mind. I’m glad these people have had the opportunity to see the world in full color. The world has always been beautiful...I don’t understand how much more beautiful it really Is to people with normal vision.
Aaron of all Trades Trust me, if you ever get the glasses, you won't regret it. The world really _is_ very beautiful when you see all of the colors. I guess I can't quite explain it to you... but it's just awesome.
As a normal-vision-person I can tell you that I really hope you'll get those glasses to see new colors because the beauty of a colored world is so amazing it can bring people to tears even if they're not colorblind. It's like a whole new dimension, and everything around you feel so alive, its best thing
What’s dull to you is still brand new to a colourblind person. I just gave my boyfriend a pair a few days ago, I was pointing out crazy bright colours and he just couldn’t stop staring at the grass and leaves. He could actually see mushrooms in a patch of grass and leaves. He was amazed at how many greens there were in one tree. And how red is a very overused colour :) I can’t wait to take him inside a supermarket to see the fruit and veg but it’s still overwhelming for him a few days later! Also it’s autumn so all the trees are crazy colours. Can’t wait to show him a sunset, and a rainbow!!
dahlia raizel thank you lol we went into a supermarket today with the glasses, the fruit and veg isle was a big deal! It’s healthy for us too as we’re eating more colourful salads so he can see the colours!
That's super sweet and generous of you. I'm so happy with what they can do, not just for these, but all the advances in vision and hearing I've seen in my lifetime. It's great.
I saw dozens of videos on this subject, I think that the best place to discover colors is a quiet garden, like most of the people do. The reaction is so powerful that you need calm and privacy.
We do take so many simple things like colour for granted. Lovely to see the pure joy at seeing colour for the first time. If I ever win the lottery I am going to purchase a load of these glasses for colour blind people.
Its so great to see these peoples genuine reactions but good grief, if you're ever present for one of these events dont make it about you!! Let the person enjoy what has got to be one of the best moments of their life!! You can ask them all your stupid what-color-is-this questions later.
Bless you!!! The choruses of "what color is this, that and the other thing" drive me crazy, or leading questions designed to elicit the reaction you expected: "Is this a color you've ever seen before?" And hounding a man overcome with emotion with "How do you feel?" "What do you see?" "Do they work?" As they say, there are no stupid questions; just stupid people.
@@WereAlreadyHere I think you've missed the point, DUDE. It's the chorus of "What color is my shirt?" "What color are my shoes?" "What color are my eyes?" "What color is my hair?" coming from all the other people there.
I think it's so funny that the directions say to leave the glasses on but that there is no way that people can resist taking them on and off to compare how different the world looks.
Lovely to see his genuine emotional reaction...., (the adult guy in the restaurant)shows how strongly we are influenced by diffent colours (isn't it interesting how black clothes are popular among many that are not colourblind)

I think flowers and sunsets would be what i would want to show someone with colourblindness first, they’re two of the most beautiful things in the world
