The annual Medieval Festival in Osgoode, Ontario, saw an impressive joust in the pouring rain. Didn't know they still did full force!

Featuring "Gypsy (Catch Me if You Can)" by Norda and Mike De Ville feat. Joanna Jones. Big kudos to my boyfriend Andrew for discovering this mashup.
Dad tries EnChroma glasses
Просмотров 94 тыс.7 лет назад
My dad has been red green colourblind his whole life, but just got his first pair of EnChroma glasses to fix that. It takes a little while to kick in, but when it does he starts marvelling at how different his house looks. #EnChroma #colourblind
It’s really cool to see an example of them not working immediately
“These are pink, right? I didn’t see that before.”
Glasses should come with handcuffs to stop the recipient lifting the glasses up!!!
I love the artwork in your house!
I love how the whole house is basically red and green. 😂🥰
I noticed it generally takes longer for the older folks to adjust. People under 40 seem to see change instantly. Cool video. Your dad reminds me of George Harrison. Pretty cool.
The agreeable tray diagnostically moor because baritone adventitiously judge including a five cherries. vivacious, kaput iron
It takes a while for his world model to adjust, and he can really incorporate the enhanced senses.
Congrats to your dad... and u... I saw a lot... Good fellow/guy/dad... Love from Salzburg /Austria Cheers D.
I don't believe all these reactions. But the change from disappointed to wonder was amazing.
My response when watching you all is ... tears in my eyes .. I am now in the early 50s, I found my son was color blind when he was 7 years old ... now he is 26 years old... Likewise, I still can't afford to buy him a pair of color blind glasses until now, when I had an accident in 2011 and finally lost my job in 2013 ... I am happy for all of you .... may God bless you all ..... take care of your health ...
You have some fantastic artwork
What a colorful house for a colorblind man XD
Her dad gave her the gift of life, and she gave him the gift of color!
Awesome glad it worked for him! Also great house!!
No part 2? xd
Any updates on this? Did your dad ended up liking them glasses enough as to keep wearing them?
I like how you just start the video with him putting on the glasses. Very respectful of our precious time.
Are these the outdoor glasses? Looks like indoors.
"VERY COOL Dad tries EnChroma glasses' ... there, I fixed it for you ! ;-)
1:05 "... it's not all that different... I'm kinda disapointed..." 1:11 "Oh, Wait ! ..." < < Acid Begins To Kick In > > 2:08 "Wow ! Okay ! ....." Thanks for sharing ... we humans get 100 SUPER POWERS and mostly just take them for granted... It's such a treat to be reminded how amazingly beautiful many a moment are.
Beautiful home
I would imagine when some people put them on and don't have an immediate response it's because their brains don't understand what their eyes are seeing. It doesn't know how to process "colors".
So you find it a disappointment?
Did you buy the indoor glasses? I've heard that the sunglasses worked better.
Who was waiting for the Wow?😂
I wish my parents were into art!
6:21 that hand lotion + tissues next to the bed lol
0:50 Way to follow directions.... stop doing that! ...... It's funny how so many flip when being told not to. Besides the cool EnChroma documentary I love your appreciation for artwork. I have a Nephew we got these for so I have watched these videos for several year now (is why I am chiming on this older vid) and just hope that these great people making this wonderful product will create contacts in the future so the people we love can enjoy the vibrance of color and light everywhere they go all the time.
This is by far my favorite EnChroma reaction. It’s like watching a slow and steady sunrise. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
I loved the way it went from disappointed to 'wait a minute' then 'wow'. I also loved your house with its warm colours, I am guessing that the colour hue changes as the day turns to darker evenings and, your husband seeing new colour palettes appearimg. I am so pleased for you both and all your family.
all that amazing art and it was the cardboard elephant that you needed to touch lol that's a perfect moment, and says a lot about what is real art, dont you think?
this is like anticipating an acid cap working lol you think its no good then all of a sudden you see vivid colours and act all wondrous, in case you were wondering lol....
man you couldn't sneak around that house with those squeaky floors lol
Story of my childhood. I learned really quickly which boards not to step on when sneaking back in after a late night out haha.
very strange!. he was amazed by artificial colors much more than natural
When the acid kicks in! :D
So happy for your dad , I love your home and that music box , you gave him the gift of color opened a whole new world for him you should be very proud of yourself , now he can see rainbows 🌈. I wish humans can realise how huge of a gift we have to see color.
I must imagine for a guy whos into art this must be the best gift ever.
Great reaction ! So genuine
So beautiful to watch, and your home is fab!
Well done to let him soak it in instead of constantly asking him "what colour is this" about everything. That happens quite a lot in these videos. They're all still great, but this is the best kind.
I love his honesty at the beginning, before it kicked in for him. This is proof that these really work and the people trying them on in these videos aren't acting.
It would be so different seeing what you normally would and it all change. No wonder it takes the brain a little while to register what you're seeing. Totally weird, great though!
there is a new rose in my heart of hearts
I can't be the only one that's blown away that you guys have a 3rd floor. There's rarely any 3 story houses in California.
love it...thanks for sharing...made me think my life is good as it is, if people can be happy about seeing colors, i dont have anything to complain anymore
Your house is gorgeous and your dad seems like such a kind soul.
What a cool house! You must be an artist.
Michael Giusti we both are, in a way. I'm a photographer and he's a writer/journalist with a love of local art. I grew up there and love it :)
I am a writer as well. Inspirational stuff. Please check out my new book on Amazon "What To Do When The Wheels Come Off" I can always spot a talented artist!
I'm really happy for the gentleman being able to see these colors, but oh. my god. Your house is GORGEOUS! It looks like a museum!
That house belong in a museum!
For a deaf guy it's just the gardener breaking into a house to steal some paintings
