That pick up didn't swerve. It went around the stalled car but contined head on in the wrong lane!! He should have been back in his lane way before hitting her truck.
Crazy. I'd hate to be in that situation because I wouldn't be worrying about dying from the truck impacting the water - more the fact that I can't swim.

I’m a truck driver, the most amazing thing to me about seeing tractor trailer crashes, is the strength of the 5th wheel. Those things stay locked in every wreck I’ve ever seen. Amazing invention
The emergency response personnel did an amazing job with their rescue operation and the female driver helped her situation by staying calm and placing her faith in God’s hands. This was a good day for all!

Thank God she's safe and was able to make it home to her baby. That was terrifying to even think about, I can't imagine going through it.

Yes. It was emotional for her. And i understand that indefinitely. I was able to reach out to her not long after the incident giving her advice and encouragement.

the only bad driver on that bridge was the idiot who hit her. if he had been driving at a normal speed he wouldn't have had to turn hard to avoid the parked car.

If you watch the video. She should have had both hands on the wheel would have had more control.
The steering gear was damaged when the pickup suddenly swerved into her lane and collided with the semi. He was already on a suspended license and shouldn't have been driving.
