I haven't driven a Colorado yet, but my Canyon feels far tighter and better built than the 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road I drove. This is my first truck not being a Tacoma in my life. I still love Tacomas, but the interior and build quality on my Canyon is unquestionably better.
Colorado drove nice. I would’ve liked a little bit longer test drive and the canyon is nice as well. Thanks for the reply in the feedback my friend have a good evening.
I almost bought a ZR2 just like that one. Paid a few grand more for 24 Tacoma off road premium. But got alot more: leather seats, cooled seats, power rear window, power passenger seat, power tailgate, rear view camera mirror, 14 inch screen. Happy with my purchase. ZR2 looks good and lift with 33s was tempting. I’m a toyota guy. Only owned one chevy and wasn’t impressed with it.
Exactly. If one was to get a Colorado, it would definitely have to be a ZR two in the highest level tram and all the options you can possibly get before I would even consider getting this truck over the Tacoma, even though the truck has more horsepower, but it doesn’t even have more horsepower and torque than the hybrid Tacoma.
@@PRO4XKEV yeah it’s pretty definitely makes me want to see a bison in person lol Chevy in their names lol but I did have me looking online for different colors of the ZR two thanks for the reply, my friend
Hey Kenny, I noticed you picked on the lack of a power seat on one side and no power rear sliding window. But she didn’t notice that there’s rear air conditioning in the Colorado, which the Tacoma lacks. There’s a whole bunch of other things that you probably don’t notice, that the ZR2 offers. And if you add the convenience III package. IT INCLUDES A WHOLE HUGE LIST OF OPTIONS FOR JUST $1000 MORE. VENTILATED SEATS, LEATHER SEATS. THE SAFETY PACKAGE WHICH IS CROSS FRONT AND REAR AUTOMATIC, BRAKING AND ALERTS. THE CAMERA SYSTEM IS INCLUDED IN THAT PACKAGE AS WELL. SO FOR $52.5 there’s not even a contest. Your nitpicking because you’re a Toyota boy. I used to be a Toyota boy but I saw the light. By the way, sorry about all the caps. I had the caps locked and I felt too lazy to go back and retype it. 310 horse 430 foot pounds of torque blows the Toyota off the road.
Lol 😂 I hear you my friend and thanks for the reply and the feedback but the article I read basically said that the motors were pretty neck to neck and that the Toyota actually is more responsive so I don’t know about you blowing anybody out the water lol the ZR2 is a nice truck though I will give it that and especially with those options you mentioned I would definitely need to find the right color but I definitely like the front end of the truck. I still don’t think it’s nicer than the trail hunter or a Trd pro and good luck with the modified 2020 for Trd off-road or sport or SR5 lol the Colorado’s a nice truck that way it’s my second or third option because with the Ford ranger raptor putting out 455 hp and over 500 pound feet of torque that’s insane
Been watching who has what deals on ZR2s over last couple months in Texas, and that Capitol Chevy has been one that seems to have a solid flow coming in on top of good deals. Don't have to look far to find dealer doing $3k-$5k off the Colorado ZR2. I've test drove ZR2, 24' Tacoma OR($47k standard pkg), and Gladiator Rubicon while figuring out which one I want for sure. It's no contest with how much more the ZR2 base offers vs everything else in that price range. As long as Toyota fans keep gaslighting themselves into thinking there's no competition outside that brand, Toyota will keep giving less for more. Take advantage when someone like GM throws the kitchen sink into a build to prove a point. Competition is good for the customer.
