I was at one of Steven's last Porcupine Tree concerts over 10 years ago. I had no idea they would be disbanded so I was very lucky to have witness such an amazing show.

Ninet does such a stellar job on this song. It's one of many high points of that album. Steven Wilson is definitely an artist worth exploring more. HIs catalogue is full of amazing music.

Have been lucky enough to Steven Wilson at the Royal Albert Hall (not this performance though) and it was awesome. I note somebody has suggested "Drive Home" as the music video to watch and I couldn't agree more. I would also add "The Watchmaker" live to your suggestion list and also suggest you check out Steven Wilson in a previous incarnation and look at his band Porcupine Tree and check out the song "Anesthetize" live in Tilburg..... it's a musical masterpiece and a treat for the ears. Stay safe out there :)

I have never heard of this guy but this song sums up most of my life. I have always been a bit of a pariah. It gets tough when all you want in life is to love and be loved but always pushed to the side or thrown away but I just have to keep trying to find where I belong.

Ninet is amazing. Steven Wilson lost his voice and could not sing in New York, so, 40 minutes before the show, Ninet was asked to do all the singing, and she did it !!

Steven Wilson is a genius. Really, he's a singer, songwriter, producer, sound designer ... his concerts are an astonishing mix of both great audio quality and intriguing visuals. His music ranges from this type of mellow music, to electronic, pop, jazz, progressive, and heavy metal.
I really recommend you check out the albums In Absentia, Deadwing, Fear Of A Blank Planet (all of those with Porcupine Tree) and The Raven That Refused To Sing and Hand. Cannot. Erase. :)

Thank You both for reacting to this! I am glad you liked it. As for the last SW song I requested, Routine, it was my intention you watch the live rehearsal as it featured more of Ninet and Steven sang harmony a few times. That performance is amazing to me. The original recorded version of Routine Steven sings the majority of the song and Ninet sings a few lines and harmony.

Awesome reaction! For creative music videos with Steven performing himself, "EMINENT SLEAZE" and/or "Song of I" music videos are a must (also the music video for "SELF"). They both show off a totally different side of his music while also being some of his best music videos (Eminent Sleaze especially).
