That location and building were so beautiful and full of history that it should be nominated as a World Heritage Site even if I understand there are many similar properties in Japan. Regardless, everything was just enchanting and idyllic.

The hospitality in this ryokan is on another level. The staff somehow makes you feel you are special. Took their time to explain everything with a smile… lovely… even though how wonderful a ryokan is, if the service is bad, it could really dampen the experience.

I loved watching your video. The 'hotel' was so serene, nothing flashy. The waiter explained the dishes you were eating, which looked amazingly healthy. All the staff were so polite and unhurried. Although elderly, I bet they're fit from all the walking. The scenery was delightful and the amenities all extremely clean. Now I must get back to my world. Much appreciation.

Amazing! I would love to stay at this inn. Perfection in every way. I can't imagine a more enjoyable experience than staying at this inn - the service was exceptional, the rooms beautiful and comfortable, the food seemed fresh and delicious, and the views from the room and all around the inn were spectacular. I miss japan so much !!! I went to 2 onsen ryokan : hakone and miyajima, it was so great and peaceful. Japan is really one of my favorite country. Amazing culture, wonderful scenery, very Nice people, delicious food. 龍言、随分変わりましたね。前は食事は仲居さんがお部屋まで運んでくれる、昔ながらの旅館スタイルでした。料理も手の込んだものになりましたね。美味しそう。スタッフさんも丁寧です。食事は部屋食より会食場の方が気兼ねなく食事をすることが出来ますから良いですね。大宴会場を無くして会食場を作ったのかな？色々細かいサービスもあって大変良くなったと思います。

六日町の温泉饅頭は、今まで食べた温泉饅頭の中でも一番美味しいと思います。
そこからさらに20分南下すると大沢山温泉があります。そこの『里山十帖』という温泉旅館もお薦めです。ライフスタイルマガジン『自遊人』の会社が経営していて、グッドデザイン賞を受賞しました。
ryugon こちらの動画で初めて見て、すっかり気に入り、実際に行く計画を立て、予約を取り、3ヶ月後に高齢（94）の父と実際に行ってきました♪♪
何十回も動画で見ていたので、新鮮味が無くなってしまうかと思っていましたが、実際行ってみてとても素敵でした💖
帰ってきてからも、懐かしく、何回も動画を観ております。
秋、紅葉の季節にリピです。
