Just bought this exact pair I'm usually a 13 wide I bought a 12 wide, they are comfy. Fit perfectly my first pull on work boots I feel like I made a good choice.

I went up a half size and they fit very good ..
For me, depending on the design, my Ariats are a half size to a full size down.

@Jonny Darrin I've gotten 2 year great years out of these boots, I worked on a farm and factory with these wore them everyday weather it'd be -20⁰ or 80⁰ they are great boots. The only problem I've had is the break in time took me about a month or so and my feet were always hot and could never breathe. I believe that's because of the waterproofing that's on the boots but other than that I love em and still wear them everyday. I'm think about get the Ariat Work Hog boots that have a composite toe.
My question is how's the comfort after being in your feet for 9hrs???
Sorry for the late response! They’re okay! Like I said, I prefer to wear these out-NOT for work. But I’d still get them if you’re looking for a solid pair of reasonable price boots!
Do you have to rub them in with wax/oil. To keep them waterproof. Or is that not neccesary?
Not necessary. Although it’s always good to be on the safe side and do it anyways (which I didn’t).

I work at an Ice Cream factory. I'm thinking about wearing thermal socks as well. So should I still go a half size down or true to size.
True to size! If you wear thermal socks it might feel more snug but that would benefit you more since you work in a colder environment!

Yeah I know what you mean bro. This was my first Chinese pair of boots but man it definitely changed my perspective on different boots made in different countries. Nonetheless- They’re not bad whatsoever. Thanks for the comment
