As for the game, Streets was a really good time and i played it with veterans who really enjoyed it, which is a good sign for a low complexity game. Streets is coming out soon and you can preorder it here. www.miniaturemarket.com/sif00050.html
So, a few technical issues with this video. We are currently operating in not ideal circumstances with our house up for sale, so the sound is less than ideal in places. This could be an issue for the forseeable future, so my apologies.
That's the plan. We want to sell our reasonably central 3 bedroom place and get a bigger one a little further out with some permanent space for the channel and for baby anne.
I'm curious about your thoughts on two points: (1) How is the component quality? (2) What do you think about the value for money? (Streets has a U.S. MSRP of $35.)
Component quality is fine, the tiles, meeples and signs are all nice. The money is pretty flimsy but that's fine, its just VP tokens afterall. As for the money thing, i have no idea what 35 USD is worth really as i never transact in it.
@@3MBG Fair enough. $35 in the U.S. will buy you Azul, Calico, Splendor, the Eldritch Horror base game, or Raiders of the North Sea. The Crew or Patchwork are $15. Pandemic, Raxxon, or Citadels is $25. I bring it up because Streets feels a bit over-priced and I'm curious if that's just me that feels that.
@@3MBG When you say the money is flimsy, are you talking about the retail version with cardboard money? I backed the KS partly because the wooden money looked great and can be used for other games, like the wooden coins from Villagers.

Can you review The Bloody Inn?
I played it a few years back, but don't own a copy. So not likely in the foreseeable future

Thank you for their service.
Great to see the 3 minute format back. It’s excellent. I get more from this in 3 minutes than 20 minutes from other reviewers.
I try to do one a week, but this year has been crazy with interruptions.
Of course, you’re all good.

Bet you are moving to bigger place which has more space for your boardgames (and the little one too of course).

Sounds like a plan. Good luck!
Thanks so much for doing this! Just one thing to note - at 1:53, "The Best Sushi" should score $1 extra because it has one meeple on it :-)
I broke up the building and people scoring to make it easier to explain each part.
THANK you for changing your intro theme so it is not only icons of white males. These kind of changes definitely help more people feel included!
Great review! Thank you!
Love Suburbia and will look for this on the basis of your review, and its nice on the eye!
Still waiting for my KS version of this. Looks quite interesting!
Great review Jarrod! Do you prefer this game to Villagers or are they not really comparable? Thx!
I prefer villagers. Both are very good small box games, but i like the engine building aspect of villagers a little more
Looks fun.
For some reason Villagers never piqued my interest, but this one seems like my kind of game, I’ll have to try it out.
So close to 54k! 👍🏻
cant play this, im getting dizzy already on placing the tiles hahah

I suspect prices around the board are about to go up. Anyway, our new sponsor has it for 28USD. www.miniaturemarket.com/sif00050.html
@@rossglenn7600 where are you getting pandemic for 25 ?

Villagers eeks out a superior experience for me
I have to agree. Streets is a very good game, but Villagers was a step above.
Thanks, but i have Carcassonne)))
