Excellent guide! Quick question: what are the symbols on the construction cards’ top left that indicate 0,1 or 1 or 2 etc

Thanks! It shows how many of that card is in the whole deck, if it’s 1/2 it means 2 at full player count, 1 at low player counts

Can I split up my optional actions? Some at the beginning and some at the end? Or is it an all at once or nothing situation?

Yes you can do them once each before or after your action so it’s up to you which you want to do when - just as long as you’re not interrupting another action to do it

I’m not sure I totally understand solo.
1. Do you only remove one set of the four stacks of cards leaving you with 3 sets for the remainder of the game?
2. When you say that there are seven rounds left. Do you go ; Set 2 choose 1 card, Set 3, choose 1, Set 1 choose 1, Set 2 choose 1 etc etc or do I have that wrong?
I don’t know why I can’t grasp this one.

There are 7 turns in each era. In turns 1-4 you play with each hand from left to right (turn 1, leftmost hand, turn 2, the one to the right of that, etc). Then an acquisition phase happens. You remove one of the hands according to the number in the top left corner of the last solo card played, and remove a random reputation card from the game (bronze for era 1, silver for era 2, gold for era 3).
After that, you play 3 more turns with the hands remaining, again in order from left to right. Then you do ending the construction phase and the scoring phase as normal, at the start of the next era's construction phase you'll make the 4 piles again but this time with cards from the new current era.
