I backed this on its Kickstarter last year and can't wait to start playing it with my family. Thank you for the early sneak peek, such a gorgeous game!
Great video, thank you! Going to start out 1st campaign this week with 4 players. When drawing the private objective cards, it does state to reveal all of them before shuffling and dealing one to each player face down.
Wow, this look really cool. I love the stained glass art the dice make in Sagrada and this is a neat and creative addition to the series. As always, you are a wonderful teacher. :)
If you are playing a two-player campaign, is it two campaigns’ worth since there are four journals? ☺️ That would be amazing! Thank you for such an awesome video as always, Rodney!
Very good questions - I haven't played all the way through to know for sure, but I'm guessing you're probably right that it could work that way - or work well enough to be able to do it. Thanks for the kind words on the video Elizabeth!
The rulebook doesn’t specifically say you MUST take a die on your turn. The rulebook states “On your turn, you may select any 1 die from the cathedral board.” Is that an updated rule?
I do my best to answer all rules questions on the games I cover, but I avoid individual card effects, as that's a level of detail beyond what I can manage across all the videos I do. I'd suggest checking the rules forum for the game on BoardGameGeek or the publishers website. I hope you can find your answer there - have fun playing!
We played this for the first time the other night, I ended up coming in first. but why are there so few rewards for players who come in 1st? I understand keeping the game balanced and helping those that come in 2nd-4th but why do 1st place players only get a legacy star? It almost makes me want to lose games
I don't believe the fist scenario of the game includes destroy keywords, so I wouldn't have covered that here - my guess is that if it says "destroy" you do in fact destroy it, but if you're unsure, you might want to check with the publisher or just put it in a baggie for "destroyed" cards, so it's not in play, but available in case this reading is incorrect.

About to play out first game tonight. Thanks for the video, Rodney!

Yeah, the may inserted there is meant to be referring to the players choice of any die, but they must take one of them.
Looking forward getting my kickstarter version. Unfortunately it is delayed for Europe
Sorry to hear that, hopefully it doesn't get delayed for too long.
Interesting! Might juat have to nab this one!
Glad you enjoyed what you saw - thanks for checking it out!
Hello Rodney! Thanks for the video!
My pleasure Frank!
Can someone please explain to me the dedication ability that you get when you buy all the family crest tree?

Sorry, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking.

That's more of a design question, so you might need to ask that to the designer or publisher.
Okay, Rodney. Now do the flip with the full box! I DARE YA!
Only if you double-dog dare me.
If it says to destroy a card, can I then throw it out?
