What's your favourite Stefan Feld Game?
Castles of Burgundy
Luna is my favourite... although I've not played many of his more recent games.
The Castles of Burgundy at the moment
A while ago I made a personal ranking of all Feld games I've played:
10/10
1. Bruges (with expansion)
2. Castles of Burgundy (Anniversary Edition)
9/10
3. Bora Bora (it's one of the best, but it's too heavy for many of my friends)
4. In the Year of the Dragon
5. Luna
6. Trajan
7. The Castles of Tuscany
8/10
8. Notre Dame (Anniversary Edition)
9. Bonfire
10. Carpe Diem
7/10
11. Macao
12. Aquasphere
13. The Oracle of Delphi
14. Rialto
15. Forum Trajanum
16. Amerigo
6/10
17. La Isla
5/10
18. The Name of the Rose
This right here.
Another really clear how to play video. Including a very confident camel pick up at 5:19. Didn't even have to look.
4th take.
@@GamingRulesVideos sshhh... don't give the game away
As it is always with Paul´s tutorials: excellent, very clear, and nice work. Thanks a lot.
very clear explanation!
looking forward to bringing this to the table this weekend for a 2 player game.
Great game and explanation of how to play it.
Thanks Paul, another great how to play. Really like the look of this game!
Thank you Paul quality as usual. Very intuitive
As always very easy to learn the games with your videos 😄
So looking forward to getting these games, they got on my radar thanks to you 👌
Thanks Paul, keep up the good work 😊
The perfect explanation video for Marrakesh, thank you!
Great job as always my friend!
This is my favorite of the city games. Love the tutorial
Thanks for the video, this is going to be very helpful when I get this game to the table.
I just purchased all games in the City Collection based upon your videos ! Great work Paul !!! Thank you so much
Glad you like them!
Love the look of this game. Thanks for the excellent tutorial 😎👍✌️
Thank you for this tutorial! Very impressive your way of teaching. 👏
A great explanation of the game
Love this game so much
Thanks for this Paul! This week got a chance to play it (after watching your video). I really like the game! :)
How did your game go?
@@GamingRulesVideos Very good actually! I played it twice now but I have to remember to reveal the oases early.
Thank you
We are in Marrakech right now!
I saw you demoing this at UKGE on Friday but did not want to interrupt. This game is on my wishlist (couldn't get it at UKGE as spent all my money on Distilled) so this video will be a big help :)
Distilled is good too :)
Hello, thank you for this video. Do you recommend the classic edition or the essential one?
Thank you Paul! At 18:20, should you place the grey keshi in the sector immediatly and can you then use the extra "knowledge point" in the same turn?
Nope. The knowledge points are generated when you take the action.
@@GamingRulesVideos Thanks! Then I played it wrong yesterday 😅
I have a couple of questions I can’t find the answers to in the rules
1 - when using the red keshi to deploy assistants to a ‘wild’ location, why does it go in turn order?
2 - when receiving keshis via bonus for an area where there is a well, do you receive water droplets then as well? Ie, just placed 2 green gates, receive 2 new date pickers…if I have a well there, would I also receive 2 water droplets?
Thanks
1. I explain this specifically in the video. At least I thought I did. It doesn't matter that much, but it might, so you can wait for the person before you to place theirs.
2. You only get water from a water vendor when using an assistant in that sector, never for just placing a keshi.
@@GamingRulesVideos Thanks. You do explain it goes in turn order, but not why. I honestly can’t see how it would matter other than for claiming luxury goods and / or scrolls?
@@user-zd3vf5ms7x it’s very minor. But where people place their assistants MIGHT influence which Keshi’s they draft,p. So, if the player to the right of me chooses to place his wild assistant in the orchard, and there are 2 green Keshis, I think she may take them. So, I might place my wild assistant somewhere else.
First!
