Thank you for the great gameplay! Anachrony is my favorite, my absolute top game! One small note: 1:53:10 - players who receive anomalies remove warp tiles in turn order AFTER all players have rolled for paradoxes (from official FAQ). So, Paul, your opponent removed the warp tile too early (which actually didn't affect the game as you still had to roll the paradox die). Greetings!
Paul, good job in the teach and playthrough. It’s so nice to see new players being introduced to my favorite game. Keep it up. Might I add one little advice for your teach/strategy. When I’m teaching, I try to give out the best case scenarios. With “Escape Pods”, I would remind the players their endgame goals are met. They can spend the rest of the game fulfilling the secondary objectives. And, with super projects, they can be placed anywhere on their game board (i.e. the lab slots). So I’d like to see players race for the scientific breakthroughs, race to the mine or construct, and build the super project. Did you know you could have broken the game (in a way) with your leader power? You construct “Escape Pods” on turn 1, also asking for neutronium during the warp phase. Build a power plant as well as “Escape Pods” on turn 1. Use your leader power to get 2 water and get a paradox. If you’re lucky, on turn 2, you roll the double paradox, getting an anomaly. If not, use your leader power again (if you didn’t roll a blank). Retrieve the neutronium. Warp it back in with another mine component. Build a factory and life support building on turn 2. Trade with the nomads if necessary. Repeat the process, getting rid of the anomaly each turn using the same item you warped in each turn with the neutronium and with the two water using your leader power. Also, make sure you recruit a new worker. If the double sided die doesn’t work, wait a turn. Or use the leader power. You could end up with about 10-12-15 neutronium at the end of the game to evacuate. Multiply times 3 for each one, and 3 from the evacuation condition. You’ll be having the time of your life. 😁 oh, and don’t forget to time travel to fix a component or two. Again, great job. Great video. Can’t wait to see the next one. Cheers!
This one’s on my table and I’ve been working through a game against the Chronobot very slowly. Figured I’d watch a playthrough. So helpful and clarifying. Appreciate your work Paul!
Thanks for covering this game, Paul! It is one of my absolute favorites! I've managed to build as many as 5 super projects before using a bonus in Fractures of Time that lets you build an extra one. You definitely have to go all-out on it and get a little lucky though. Edit: Finally got around to finishing the video! What a fun game! Thanks for sharing the video. The max points you can receive for evacuation is 30.
This is my favorite Mindclash game and favorite heavier game. Love it. Definitely enjoy it better with asynchronous leader abilities and drafting resources. I think getting it to BGA will mean I can get in a few more games since I move and no gamers in new area.
I definitely agree that it looks more complex than it actually is. BGG has its complexity rated at a 4.05 and feel that is a little higher than it actually is!
Maybe I’m crazy, but this game wasn’t all that tough to learn unlike what so many people on the internet have been saying. Maybe I’m getting used to these heavy games, who knows

Looks like an interesting game. I particularly like the time travel concept.
Love this game, Glad to see this back on the channel.
Amazing game; thanks Paul! ANACHRONY: The best a (wo)man can get!

Got this in on my shelf behind me in my office, can’t wait to dig into the Chronosus! Thanks for helping me study Paul!

Most of my favourite heavyweight games, I have had to play a few times before I have understood how great they are. I enjoyed the playthrough 👍😎✌️
Long overdue and the perfect man for the job! This is a heavy, heavy weight game (at least, it seems that way to me!)

Love this game but do not get to play it nearly enough! Thanks for the video, Paul.
Thanks for straightening at 49:10. It was already driving me nuts. Did you ever play this two player?
Things not being straight REALLY bug me. I vaguely remember playing this at 2-player, but can't remember when.
Awww man I missed it. But luckily I have set a game of Anachrony tomorrow. :)
One of my top 5
I really should get this game to the table. Not as complex as I feared, which is a good thing.

30 points is the max allowed when evacuating. Ive gotten very close tho that. Upper 20s
Really excited to get my copy when voidfall delivers. I’m regretting that I didn’t get those metal upgrades though.
It really comes alive with Fractures of time, I think the base game has a few issues.
Does it really include a solo mode? I thought you'd need an expansion for it?
I've seen one player build 3 superprojects (they did not win). Most points I've earned from evacuating was 21.
Maybe I’m crazy, but this game wasn’t all that tough to learn unlike what so many people on the internet have been saying. Maybe I’m getting used to these heavy games, who knows
some games just suit some people more than others.
I have come from 3 months in the future to tell you a message [REDACTED]
