Yari wall walk is absolutely ridiculous. I cannot believe it, it is absolutely ludicrous. I've tried it out and you were right, the order needs to be only given once and left unmodified, no running and they will impale anything that stands in their way, I've had a KD ratio of 55 on a hill, 305 kills and 6 deaths, absolutely ridiculous.
I wonder why this works, it has to be some sort of game breaking bug where the state of the unit isn't registered correctly or something? I just find it ridiculous how walking in yari wall with one singular order that isn't modified even during combat just shreds through anything, I've tared through rebel yari walls on a little bit of an incline even. Fucking bonkers. How did you discover it? It has completely changed how I play the game.
i discovered it during a siege defense where I had a lot of yari in a tight space and wanted to actively use them instead of leaving them standing by. Pushing through was the obvious answer since giving attack orders is messy in sieges.
