Bracing an Acoustic Guitar Top

Bracing an acoustic guitar top isn't significantly more complex than bracing an acoustic guitar back, though there are a lot more angles. In this video, I show how I outlined the brace locations using a pencil, ruler and protractor, then attached and shaped the braces for better tone.

X bracing is stronger than some other styles, scalloping the braces make them more flexible

@@edwardsn3670 I’ve never owned a non X-braced guitar, but yes it’s my understanding that the different bracing patterns sound different. I hope to sell enough guitars where I can experiment myself 🙂
