    3:40--3:45 Very helpful! Really needed such slow demo to see the clear ordering of the keys being played by each hand. Thank you so much.

      OMGNESS, yessss! I completely agreed with Wombat, because no one else in their tutorials broke down that measure at 3:40 to 3:45 so clearly like you did. It absolutely helped me immensely as I was struggling with that measure and the fingering.Thank you, 💗 thank you 🙏, thank you!! I am so glad I found your video!! Excellent 👍

    Oh my God! You did it. Thank you so much. I am going to disect this video tonight. This is one melody I discovered recently, and it is awesome. I won't ask you any questions. I know you don't like that. My piano teacher has a scheduling conflict with me, so I am on my own again.

      No. I attempted college on west coast, not here. Kansas state is 20 miles from me though. I graduated high school, but only completed 2 years of college. I wasn't ready for the college experience.

      @@janepianotutorials hi jane i have a question,how long did it take you to learn this song?

    • @janepianotutorials
      @janepianotutorials  3 года назад +1

      @@chittaphonsfootlettuce2986 If my teacher had assigned it, it would have taken me a week, half hour practice, including scales, arpeggios and another type of piece. If I did a poor job, he would have made me practice it for another week to make corrections. [Edit] Most students practice an hour or more, but I had too much other homework.

    Perfect trilling Jane; consistent with the Baroque period. Great job. In measure 2, I noted the hooked trill in the score played as a normal trill. I have no idea your edition was written. If it was the hooked trill or regular. I am in intense study of ornaments tonight. I admit, they make no sense whatsoever. I noted your invention 4 tutorial did not abide by the baroque period rules. I don't care since it sounded good. How to get a headache: Try to understand trills and ornaments.

    • @janepianotutorials
      @janepianotutorials  8 лет назад

      +Piano Man42 Ornaments forever frustrate. Comparing editions, we see that ornaments differ in placement (absent or present), type, and duration. My lesson on trills gave the rules, but rules have exceptions. Headache time...

    what BPM is this? Thanks!

    • @janepianotutorials
      @janepianotutorials  Год назад

      I'll teach you how to find the answer yourself, that way you can do it for any piece. 60 bpm equals 1 beat per second. So play the video and tap the desk with your hand to match the tempo, adjust the metronome up or down until it matches your tapping. Have fun!

      Search "trilling piano" on YT for lessons. Josh Wright is one of the best, and Steinway Gallery has some.

  • @randyclar747
    @randyclar747 10 лет назад

    One question, that is it: Can't I just use consistency, and common sense when it comes to fingering; and invent my own in this case? If not, I will finger it exactly as you depict. I will figure this out and upload my playing it; nevertheless.
