Bobby, Just a thought...you should post two separate ingredient lists: one for ingredients to avoid and one for 'approved' ingredients. Would be so helpful to many if we had a resource to reference when shopping or simply to learn from...and try to remember!
Hey Bobby and Art! Ginny from Orlando .64 year old nurse. Thank you for revamping my health. I always thought I was eating right! Thanks Guys! You rock !
This channel is so important and had taught me so much more about clean foods than I already knew. Thanks for sharing, and I wish you all the success in the world for 2020 👍
I love that you call Costco your HAPPY PLACE! When we get to go to a Costco (100 miles from us) I practically hyperventilate with excitement! I’ve had a membership practically my whole adult life, even when it was Price Club. I just love, love, love your Costco reviews and have learned SO much from you about reading labels and paying attention. Thank-you as always!
You could order many healthier foods to your door 🚪 also if you could support your local farmers get your larger meat 🍖 🥩 orders there. Instead of driving a lot.
I wished you were in Australia to do a healthy grocery store for us here. Please pray for us all here in Australia right now with all the devastation of bushfires, people and animals are perishing 😭🙏🏼 please pray for rain 🌧
Great video. You mentioned counting macros. Could you do a video explaining macros and then pair it with one of your recipes so we can see how to count in a practical way?
Absolutely incredible video! You have no idea how much this helps because I have a toddler and obviously I am not going to put her on a keto diet. But I need to get back on track and it is hard when you have a baby. You seriously make educational great quality videos! Very much appreciated!
Started off the year watching your vids in early January and February. Helped me to better adjust to what was coming - "pandemic times." I do appreciate your presentations. Thank you, from a California fan.
I wish all Costco stores carried the same inventory. I get all excited about the products you find only to go to my Costco and find out that the products are not available at my location. 😩
Kami Warner I went to Costco last night, my store didn’t carry 90% of the stuff he showed. I had to grab the Paleo pancake mix for my kids (it was that or Krusteez 😒) and I was able to grab the organic Chicken drumsticks though. So, there’s that. 🤷♀️🤦♀️ Oh, BTW, Chicken of the sea chunk light tuna uses soy in their cans of tuna! They just started doing that the past five years or so. Wild Planet has a chuck light tuna which tuna, water and salt. The way it should be.
Gotta agree on this! I was just at my area Costco and they had only one or two of these Bobby approved items. I doubt if I renew my membership this year!
I teach pilates classes in Los Angeles and at the end of class I suggested to everyone that they should follow you! Will do it all month. Love and appreciate all the work you put into your videos 💪🏻 Happy New Year! 🎉
Loved when you said premium products should contain premium ingredients. I absolutely agree!! I often pick up a product that seems "healthy" or of great quality and quickly put it down when i read those unwanted ingredients.
I watch your videos before I go to Costco because I can't remember all this information when I'm in there and I get sidetracked by reading all the labels so I appreciate so much that you guys do this for us so we know what to look for and what not to thank you
What a great way to start your morning watching the 🐐 about what’s health for your body I. Can’t wait to get my membership from Costco every soon thank you so much Bobby for everything you teach us keep up the amazing work like always.
Thank you for your videos. I’m learning so much. Have a 44 year old special needs son who just wants junk food. So hard to sneak clean food in him but I appreciate all you are teaching us.
Thanks Bobby! I just re-joined Costco yesterday and used your app to help me navigate through the store. I am happy to say I bought so many great products all organic, because of your inspiration. Thanks again and by the way your daughter is adorable
We have the pastured raised organic eggs in Az at some stores. They do have access to organic feed but live on the pasture during the day (according to their video) they come for 2.79 a dozen and are sold by the dozen.
Thanks for all the information Bobby, I’ve become a much more selective grocery shopper thanks to you. I’m part Nigerian and most of our traditional foods are made with beautiful rich red palm oil. It’s used in lots of West African dishes and is a staple ingredient. You can buy it at most African stores here in the States. Just don’t heat it too much as it has a very low smoke point.
@@jackm9804 The last time I went to Costco in Harlem a couple of weeks ago, I did not find many of the Bobby Approved items, and I went up and down every aisle, although I bought Coconut Clusters, and they are excellent. The more expensive healthier options must not sell here.
Here in Baton Rouge we had the pasture raised for a couple months, but they recently switched back to free range. Made me really sad. Maybe it is based on availability. I hope they come back!
Happy New Year Bobby and Art! Perfect timing of your video-driving 1 1/2 hrs today to my nearest Costco for first haul of 2020. As always, thank you for all that you do to keep us all informed and healthy. Kudos to Costco for making the effort to add healthier options.
Korean Pork Jerky I’m scared of that!! Bobby I’d love to see you come up with your own healthy stuff like the grass fed pork jerky!! Thank you for opening our eyes to what’s healthy and what’s deceiving!!
Just started to watch your videos. Showed my wife the video and she ordered your book. Thank you going to enjoy learning and cooking healthier foods for my little girls.
Thank you, Bobby! I learned a lot from you in 2019 and am looking forward to what you're going to do in 2020! Fav Costco snack is the Coconut Clusters (so happy to know they're Bobby approved!). And the chocolate covered coconut clusters..😮 cannot buy them because cannot stop eating them!
Imagine my surprise to see Birch Benders Keto Pancake mix first up in this video after buying it yesterday at Walmart! The 10oz bag is $6.98 at Walmart making the Costco 30oz size at Costco a GREAT deal! When Costco opened in Charleston, SC decades ago, I was a member. Hey, it was a few miles from my home. It is now on my 2020 wish list. I will be thrilled to make the 40-minute drive after 'shopping' with Bobby and Art when the budget allows. I miss Costco.
I love Costco, and this presentation was the bomb! I liked it! unfortunately in Canada Costco, we don't have 1/2 of what you showed, but I will be looking for them, thank you for this presentation.. Great job!
Chicken of the sea chunk light tuna uses soy in their cans of tuna! They just started doing that the past five years or so. Wild Planet has a chuck light tuna which tuna, water and salt. The way it should be.
WooHoo! Your book is in the Salem, Oregon Costco 🤗. That's an hour away from my house but I have a friend who lives/shops there. I'll see if she can pick one up for me 👍.
Tip from you cheese monger fan regarding lactose. You correctly mentioned parm not usually being a problem for those with a lactose issue. The same holds true for most aged cheeses. During the aging process, lactose turns into lactate which almost always is fine with those with a sensitivity to lactose.
Thanks so much!!!! I have a severe allergy and can’t have dairy, soy, and gluten. Your snack tips were spot on for me!!!!! I was able to have really tasty snacks other than carrots and celery for super bowl. Sunday!!!!!!
Agreed ! He said “no one” uses red palm oil but most Africans do. And we can purchase here in the US from ethnic stores, asian supermarkets, and other international grocery stores. I love Flavcity videos/recipes great info!
he's not giving true facts at all. he's talking about how free range eggs are way more healthier for you even though there is no data that shows any nutritionally significant difference between cheap eggs and super expensive eggs. he's an influencer paid by costco to get you to buy the expensive stuff.
My Fr's/Kroger just had a sale of $2.99 on the Kerry Gold butter sticks (2 in pkg.) so I stocked up. Friday it had the brick for $3.34. Purchased the Vital Farms brand many weeks ago for $2.99 (Sprouts) to try. You are absolutely right. It is a pale color with no flavor. Will just use the rest of it for cooking. With the "January better eating" kick that happens every year my Fry's sent out digital coupons for all this "healthy" type of snacks, etc. MOST of them you would not approve of LOL. Great video and have a great week.
Commenting at start of video. I get the shredded beef. In a package, canned meat section like tuna aisle. The ingredients in it are shredded beef and beef broth. It’s some really good stuff.
I never miss one episode of Bobby's healthy food haul, but I'm in China and the only Costco opened in Shanghai couple of months ago was, what can I say, a total disaster, too many people there that they had to close on the opening day as a emergency. 😂
I’d love to see a general video on reading ingredients and good snacks (non-diet specific) at the grocery store. I’m not keto or paleo or anything else so I don’t need to pay attention specifically to grains or carbs.
Costco has The Harmless Coconut Water which is such a deal when it goes on sale! I bought a pack of 6 pack bottles for $9.99 (normally $12.99) which at Whole Foods for that same size bottle for one is about $4.

At times wen am reading the ingredients, I read it little loud not knowing I was 😂. So some of the shoppers or employees probably think am crazy or high. Thanks for all the info u put out there.
Also you highlighted the benefits of organic dairy when it comes to yogurt but when it comes to moon she's or crapy cheese snacks you don't worry about organic or pasture raised advocating those as healthy snacks
I Would love to see a video for best snacks/foods for diabetics. I have family members that are diabetic and would love to share the video with them, and inspire them that they don't need to feel stressed of what they can't or can eat. Also, Happy Belated New year ^.^
hi, i listened to what you said about yogurt: do not get sweetened yogurt b/c it killls the bacteria. yikes. what about: the brand-the white moustache, flavor-kiss, which is orange blossom honey and walnuts? it can be found at whole foods.
"pastured raised" How exactly do manufactures get to tout this on their products? how big of a pasture is needed for "X" amount of animals? Is there an actual formula? Seriously, I'm curious. I'm from Montana & 99.9 % of our beef & bison are grazed on thousands of acres, yet very few ranchers tout "pastured raised".
Prayon Kreutz look up some vegan propaganda movies if you want a more realistic view of the meat industry behind the scenes. I'm not saying it's all bad, I'm just saying it's a lot worse than the public thinks.
@@thewhat531 That's the thing though, its propaganda, its gonna be made out to be worse. And things will be skewed for the view they are pushing. I'm not saying that there is not any truth, but it's like watching Mainstream Media, it's not gospel.
Prayon Kreutz yes I agreee!!! Good for you guys seriously that’s amazing can’t say the same for Ca cattle farmers. The Costco organic pasture raised eggs are kind of a joke here the quality is not good. I still buy them but I also buy Vital farms , and Pete and Jerry’s because I’ve found the quality is THE BEST. Things need to change !!!!!!!
Cage free/free range are regulated terms. Pasture raised is up to interpretation but meant to be more humane that "cage free". The big concern with beef/bison is the bulk of their calories coming from corn - over the actual grass on the pasture. I see terms like grass fed/finished but if they are raised on corn then that makes the biggest difference.
Bobby, you should research how Costco sprays an antifreeze solution on the non-organic Driscoli strawberries. We bought some accidentally and they smelled like nail polish remover when we tried to eat them. The store employees admitted they spray them with this solute before shipping
Happy New Year Bobby and Art. Always appreciate your videos. You've helped change the way I buy foods from grocery stores. I was so excited about the Kite Hill yogurt. Good thing this video dropped before I head to Costco later.
I'd love to know your thoughts on canned Yellowfin tuna, I started getting that at Whole Foods and once you try it you'll never go back to regular tuna! lol BUt not sure where it falls on the mercury/heathly scale...
@@chrislong9665 I bought some costco ones , the suck and taste terrible. They are no where near as good as the old wilcox brand and the yolks are yellow not orange.
I live in Carlsbad and plan on getting one of your cookbooks soon! I’m a big fan of your videos!!! Than you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 you’ve opened my eyes to so much and I’ve changed a lot of my shopping habits
Very informative. I only wish there had been more things that were also good to get rather than not to get. Thank you for taking the time to do this. 💓
Jay Un no worries. I raise my own chickens. My girls get several hours of free roaming and sunshine, and I also add organic greens and grub and mealworms as treats. Very healthy but my eggs have occasional blood spots. Store bought eggs don’t because they have been scanned with light to sort out eggs with blood spots. It’s for esthetics. People think they’re spoiled or unhealthy. Or it freaks them out! 🤪 But it’s totally normal.
Imagine if Bobby got the financial backing to create his own food company!!! It wouldn’t even be necessary to read the ingredients it would be just a matter of what you like! The best in class options like milk, breads, cheeses, snacks, vitamins, fruits and vegetables, yogurts, protein powders, meats, fish etc! Wow

3. Good Foods plant based queso style dip
4. Chicken of the sea - chunk light

hi, i listened to what you said about yogurt: do not get sweetened yogurt b/c it killls the bacteria. yikes. what about: the brand-the white moustache, flavor-kiss, which is orange blossom honey and walnuts? it can be found at whole foods.
Supposedly it means they eat natural and not locked up eating corn feed.
Idk
Bobby, I really enjoyed watching this blog. Thank you for all the knowledge you shared in our community...
Bobby, you should research how Costco sprays an antifreeze solution on the non-organic Driscoli strawberries. We bought some accidentally and they smelled like nail polish remover when we tried to eat them. The store employees admitted they spray them with this solute before shipping
Serby oh wow, that seems just criminal
Happy New Year Bobby and Art. Always appreciate your videos. You've helped change the way I buy foods from grocery stores. I was so excited about the Kite Hill yogurt. Good thing this video dropped before I head to Costco later.
I'd love to know your thoughts on canned Yellowfin tuna, I started getting that at Whole Foods and once you try it you'll never go back to regular tuna! lol BUt not sure where it falls on the mercury/heathly scale...
Bobby, you make a good point about starting your own brand of food. The problem with that would be the insane profits you would make from that.
I found pasture raised eggs in a Houston area Costco
I found some in my local Kroger but very expensive.
Yes they are typically the most expensive which makes the Costco ones an even better value.
@@chrislong9665 I bought some costco ones , the suck and taste terrible. They are no where near as good as the old wilcox brand and the yolks are yellow not orange.
@@hawkeytown mine had terrible blood spots in them. Had to throw away 6 eggs in the one dozen . At $7 a dozen I can't afford that.
I live in Carlsbad and plan on getting one of your cookbooks soon! I’m a big fan of your videos!!! Than you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 you’ve opened my eyes to so much and I’ve changed a lot of my shopping habits
Love Kerrygold butter, the best
So will your clogged arteries
Daniel Lupu consuming butter doesn’t clog arteries.
@@debh8361 oh really?
Watching your channel has made eating healthy so much easier 😀
Costco should be selling Non Salted KerriGold Butter! Period
Really, oh really! Lmao!!!!!
Why. Salt makes it taste better and it's good for you.
Tom Tredup you probably think Kerri Gold should make margarine too!
Tom Tredup
Trader Joe’s carries a non-salted version. And, I believe, Sprouts, also.
My Costco in Texas carries the unsalted so it’s out there 👍🏼
Very informative. I only wish there had been more things that were also good to get rather than not to get. Thank you for taking the time to do this. 💓
Brown egg at Costco most of the time have blood spots
Jay Un no worries. I raise my own chickens. My girls get several hours of free roaming and sunshine, and I also add organic greens and grub and mealworms as treats. Very healthy but my eggs have occasional blood spots. Store bought eggs don’t because they have been scanned with light to sort out eggs with blood spots. It’s for esthetics. People think they’re spoiled or unhealthy. Or it freaks them out! 🤪 But it’s totally normal.
Yet we eat bloody beef lol
Imagine if Bobby got the financial backing to create his own food company!!! It wouldn’t even be necessary to read the ingredients it would be just a matter of what you like! The best in class options like milk, breads, cheeses, snacks, vitamins, fruits and vegetables, yogurts, protein powders, meats, fish etc! Wow
Would be nice to see a video where Art does all the talking haha:)

Buy Art the ham!
Hope your book comes to Canada and I'll pick one up. Maybe you can do a Canada Costco run if you're near one?
