White rice is not much different than brown rice as far as macros go. Brown rice does have more nutrients, however it contains phytic acid which prevents most of the nutrients to be absorbed into the body and brown rice is also much higher in arsenic, because the hull retains most of it. So if you really want white rice go ahead and have it.

Could you do a video where you breakdown the common ingredients to look out for? The repeat offenders? The ingredients that you should avoid at all costs and the ones you should simply avoid?
It's easy he repeats them so often: avoid processed foods, refined/ added sugar and oils, CARRAGEENAN, gmo corn/ corn products such as Maltodextrin fillers, oils that arents expeller pressed, HFCS, Natural Flavors, artificial sweeteners, buy the dirty dozen organic and buy organic oats, soy, coffee, tea only. It really bugs me when Bobby says things like "it has no nutrition" . . .that's just utter nonsense. Of course white rice has "nutrition" e.g. there are nutrients in it. Puh-lease . . .
A note on arsenic in rice - all rice in the USA is not equal. Beware of rice grown in the Arkansas, Texas or Louisiana as they have the highest levels of arsenic. California, India or Pakistan test considerably better. One nice thing about Lundberg rice is they post their arsenic tests online (or at least they did - I haven’t checked recently). Sushi rice from the US is also pretty good but then it is white rice so bad for the other reasons Bobby mentioned.
Also rinse your rice well before cooking or cook it in lots of water and drain it like cooking pasta. This helps cut the arsenic that is even in the safer rices. Important to find out the arsenic levels in your water first as that may defeat the purpose of the extra water. I should also add that Trader Joe’s says their frozen rice is from California.

In India v eat white rice but always drizzle ghee (clarified butter) on it and then add our lentils in the form of soup over it..ao the glicemic index becomes very low..
Booby you're my best friend. Thank you for all your nutrition information
I really like and have begun to devour your videos. Fyi anyone who can cook pasta can also make yogurt and granola at home. The home-made versions are much better and cheaper than their store- bought cousins and you know what’s in them.
Hey Bobby, I'm on Keto... From your two books wish one should I buy Book #1 or Book #2?
Book one is Keto and Paleo meal prep... Go for that one.
White rice is a staple in Puertoricans diet 😂 I can change anything except that.
I honestly don’t think white rice is that bad, it’s not like that you ONLY have white rice for the entire meal, right ;)
@@nellious9477 we usually use it a a side with some stew beans and a protein as the main. Sometimes we do, sweet plantains, tostones, salad or yuca has a second side. 😋😋😋😋🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
@@crm5514 Aha! there you go , enjoy the white rice 🍚
It really bugs me when Bobby says things like "it has no nutrition" . . .that's just utter nonsense. Of course white rice has "nutrition" e.g. there are nutrients in it. Puh-lease . . .
Hihihi, yeah, white rice is a tricky thing to let go of, I tryto avoid it, but sometimes it realy has to be
Hey flavcity. What are best antiinflammatory foods and diets?
Thank you!
Can you do an Aldi $20 eat for a week for one?

Silver Hills bread in my whole foods usually on sale for about $3.79 I'm just wondering why Whole foods freeze this bread?
@dariush I work for wholefoods the bread actually comes in frozen we don’t freeze it if you find it on a shelf outside the freezer it’s thawed out
Can you make a video on the effects of using a microwave?
I cant follow a Keto diet due to food allergies. Allergic to eggs, dairy, soy ,corn gluten, wheat, most nuts but pine, pistachios and pecans. Very limited and sensitive to chia seeds, turmeric and high histamine foods. I try to learn from your videos. I bought tapioca and I depend on rice and oats since I cant hardly find any foods to eat. I am learning lots ofvthings from your videos and trying to find options in between your recommendations. Maybe we need a video on allergen free foods available in the market?
Thank you Bobby, Some people need to know the ingredients
I know he's not going to say it. Beef liver. Absolutely loaded with nutrition. Smothered in sautéed onions baby.
Loved your educational video. Thanks so very much for putting together such videos.

Man I wanted that app but I can’t afford it. Is basically an Amazon prime yearly cost. I thought it was going to be a one time payment.
Agree
Bobby still rocking some great hauls Flav City Fam! I hope he gets to show us how to ferment our own food in his Flav City Kitchen one day because he knows his stuff. I'd recommend starting with some Kombucha and a follow up Flav City Fermentation book will be next level bro.
Any tips for a healthy bread with no seeds and bits. My mom has diverticulosis and seeds and bits is a no no
Usually the seeds are just on the top. She could cut the crust off. You could call the company and ask.
