The only other fighter who likes to be flashy like that is Miguel. He tried doing that high flying spinning kick against Hawk but he injured his back in doing so. I think we will get Miguel vs this dude doing a bunch of flying kicks lol

I believe it will be Zara Malek played by Reyna who will be the main rival to Sam and Tory for the girls division as Reyna is literally a 13x world champion. So it makes sense for her to be the perfect candidate to be Kim’s best female student.

Miguel, he's who we started with. Altough Robby also should get some limelight. Guess Hawk will mostly be their training partner. Severly upping his game to push Robby and Miguel to their max.
Robby needs some time to shine. They had him lose at both the previous tournaments. So I think they should let him have his day. Since Miguel, Robby, and Hawk all seem to be roughly equal.

If Miguel had his head straight he'd have no obstacles and would be the only one in Miyagi Do with even a chance at taking him on
To be fair this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the underdog beat a superior opponent in this universe. All the Karate Kid films, Daniel was outmatched in experience and even athletic ability yet he still won in the end because 2/3 of them were tournament matches meaning he just had to snag some points instead of actually doing damage. While in KK2, Chozen pretty much lost the fight due to his emotional state given the whole village supported Daniel over him. Had all those been street fights instead with no distractions, Daniel would’ve lost. So in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do has a chance only if they’re lucky enough to get clean hits in for the points and maybe mess with Kwon emotionally so he’s off his game.

When the show first started, Miguel was clearly the main kid, but it gradually shifted to include all the kids equally. Given Robby's consistent performance, making it to two All Valley finals, he is due for a win. I think Robby wins it, I'd love for Miguel to win it tho.

I can see him having solid battles with Robbie, Hawk and Miguel but using dirty tactics to defeat them. Kreese will make sure his top guy is aware of certain injuries that Miguel and Robbie have acquired from the previous seasons such as Robbie’s shoulder and Miguel’s back. Which I think will shadow the Bests Of the Best movie since John, Josh and Hayden love to make old 80’s movie references.

@@KamdonhillMiguel had no problem in season 5 fighting so I think his injuries are no longer a thing for him. The writers basically will move forward like nothing happened. The aftermath of his injuries affected him in season 4 so it would be a mistake to also re run that in the tournament it’s been used already.
