Cool. Cobra kai didn't get released onto netflix until mid 2024 in Australia. I had no idea the karate kid rivalry made a comeback in 2018 with cobra kai.

The place you said was johnnys apartment was actually Daniel’s apartment complex in the original his apartment was up the stairs to the left of the pool and the first door on the left.
I just watched the first karate kid movie and i could confirm that it was johnny’s apartment because daniels apartment had a wood door to enter. The do look simaliar though
The tournaments were filmed at lithia Springs High School (S4) and Kennesaw State’s Marietta campus (S1). The fight between Miguel and Robbie at Johnny’s apt was filmed on a special built set next to the main Warehouse where they did most of the filming in south Atlanta

3:00 not johnny's apartment, that's reseda heights from the first movie larusso moved into and no the boys didn't fight up there either. But it was in the show when daniel and johnny went for a ride in the hellcat and visited some old places. All love for the video though good job.
