The Johnny and Daniel dynamic was hilarious and great this season, Ralph and Billy (William) have amazing chemistry and they play off each so well. Also Terry Silver has taken over my top villain rank which used to be Kreese, he's a really good villain. Cannot wait for season 5, hopefully we don't have to wait too long

Cool you're a woman boxer? Nice. I use to be a pro licensed boxer too when I was younger. I did boxing and Jeet Kune Do as a small child & became a pro boxer around 18 years old until like 25. I didn't go as far as I wanted because I was and still am a touring singer / musician so I couldn't give it 100% because of touring a lot but I miss it & was really good. I had super fast hands and a powerful left hook. Most boxers only pivot on their back foot when throwing a right hand. I use to also pivot on my left foot throwing a left hook & that's where my power came from. I would twist, pivot and use my entire body while throwing my left hook. I've had a few knockouts JUST using a check hook with power. That's something you don't normally see. Also my jab was super fast because I would put my left hand like 10 inches from my face so that when I throw the jab I didn't have much more to go to reach my opponents face. It's like halfway there already. When most put their left glove almost against their own face. I miss boxing but I'm 39 now so my boxing days are over sadly.

Jacob actually has a martial arts background which is why he's so good... And Tanner use to be a competitive dancer which is why he's so athletic and can pull off fight moves so easily... Out all the cast, they are the best fighters.

I really like how they introduce all of the moves before fights so that it is easier for a casual audience to understand what is happening. My question is when the hell did hawk learn the flying triangle move that he performed on robby in the finals. It was entertaining, but it’s from a completely different ma and the tournament doesn’t allow submissions right?
I gotta say, Carrie Underwood is the one thing in this season that felt completely out of place. Her speech reminded me of the cringy champion kid in season one. But, where that speech was supposed to be overbearing and annoying, Carrie Underwood's was meant to be taken seriously. Not really a big deal, but this show has been so great at earning its heartfelt and emotional moments that it felt a little cheap to bring in the well-liked celebrity guest to spell out what we should be feeling. Otherwise, great season with masterful writing!!
Totally agree. I don’t even know who she is. I guess it was a nod to first movie where there is a song playing during the tournament. That might have worked there but here it felt really cheesy and not in a good way.
It would have been cool if they had filmed 2 seperate fights for each category, 1 where Mary wins, 1 where Peyton wins and then 1 where Jacob wins and 1 where Robby wins and then nobody would know who won until it came out, including the cast
They’ve gotten way better at switching out the doubles. In the first 3 seasons u could pretty much tell now I almost miss it if I’m not paying attention.
What's really great about this show is having the actors do so many of their own moves. I can easily spot stunt doubles, so seeing them work so hard makes it feel much more realistic.
