What gave you the idea that John Kreese killed Tory's mother?
He's a ruthless martial arts villain, true, but he's not a total monster.
Even he wouldn't stoop this low, and he also knows the consequences if he did this cruel, reprehensible act.
Ngl I think krease killed Johnny's mom to get him to be more fierce and channel his anger for cobra kai, so he could've done the same with tory

I admired Jonny’s “let her fight it out” attitude when he discovered what Tory was dealing with. There is no right or wrong way to act when dealing with grief or helping a grieving person; you've just got to let them do whatever it is they think will help. Stopping Tory from doing what she wanted made things worse, though, to be fair, Daniel and Amanda may have thought it was a little dangerous to allow a grieving person to attack another person physically.
What disappointed me, though, was what Jonny said after she walked out: “You just lost one of our best fighters” he wasn't thinking about what was best for Tory or ensuring she was okay; he just wanted to keep her part of their team for the tournament. She's his son’s girlfriend, and he wasn't thinking about her as a person at all.

Kreese isnt the type of person to kill someones mother. He is evil. But not that evil
I wouldn't put anything past either Kreese or Silver. We all saw Kreese try to kill Johnny at least 3 times, what Silver did to StingRay, and how low even the LaRussos stooped as to use Tory's mom's death as their golden opportunity to make sure Sam was female captain which means Tory and Robby couldn't keep their promise unless Robby won it for the guys and Tory won it for the girls under Kreese. Kreese is finding out 1sthand what it's like to be just a means to an end.

I agree. Kreese lost his mother to suicide and his former love to a car accident. Tory having a single mom who was sick and at deaths door is what endeared her to him. Not to mention her ruthlessness and loyalty to him. As a matter of fact, I think that unbeknownst to him, Tory is his new weakness. All he did was trade Johnny for Tory.
The reason she chose Miyagi Do over him, at the beginning of the season, is because she finally had balance in her life. So Miyagi Do was a great fit. With her mother dying, she lost her balance and was fueled by sadness and anger. Cobra Kai feeds on those negative emotions, and they are used as fuel to attack their enemies. That's why she was drawn back to Kreese and Cobra Kai.
Well said on Kreese trading Johnny for Tory as his weakness, completely agree.
This is the way it's likely to go. They spent too much time giving Kreese cracks in the wall he's put up, it's going to come down. He won't exactly be a beacon of light maybe, but I think he becomes somebody that feels empathy and compassion before the end. Johnny will get to see it (still think Kreese dies) and it will be all the excuse he needs for him to reopen his version of Cobra Kai. (Only stable job he was good at.)

It could also be that she returned to Kreese's dojo for her own ends, just as Robby stated to Johnny that he joined CK only for himself and not because he believed in Kreese's philosophy, even though it helped him survive juvy.
She had a fist because she was holding the “magic healing gem” that young Tory gave her. When Sam went to fist bump Tory before their fight, Tory looked at Sam's fist and then we cut to the flash back of the dead mom's fist and then to the bottle cap magic jewel. That bottle cap is a symbol of fighting, which is what her mom told her to do.
No way. If she was holding that by the time she died, not even Tory's stone-demolishing hands would have been able to pry it open after rigor mortis sets in.

Tory's Mom died of a complication from medication. Daniel wouldn't allow her an outlet for her grief. Kreese did. Some people need violent outrage to cope with loss. Johnny understood this( *"SHE WAS WORKING THROUGH IT!"* ). Not *_everyone_* heals solely through peaceful acceptance.

Sure thats true. But someone in that condition should let her grief and anger out on a dummy or bag, not on an other human being, that was the problem. Someone in that condition shoudnt be in a physical confrontation with an other human being, especially not with someone who you like. Of course it was Daniel's fault, he as always thought he was right and all others are wrong, but at least I can understand him a human being in Tory's situation should fight or sparr an other human being because he/she could hurt the other badly. To push ups, situps, punch and kick a big, go running, but dont hit someone else in a kind of almost non-contact fight, because thats what it was.
Ask in real life martial arts or any kind of fight instructor if someone in Tory s state should sparr of fight someone else. They would say no. The risk to hurt the other too badly is too high. Hit a bag and throw 10000 punches and kicks to let the anger and grief out.
To me it was hard to understand why Tory didnt even tell Robby or Devon what did happen. It seems almost like she doesnt trust Robby 100%, even if he trusts her 100%. He proved it. He knew she saw Kreese again and he kept his word and didnt tell it to anybody.
I wonder if Robby will regret now not telling his dad that Tory saw Kreese again. But so or so he sticked to his word which shows a good character. He promised her not to tell anyone, and he didnt.

The guy always went to levels to hurt people even if it meant playing with their lives. We cant forget when Terry tricked Daniel in karate Kid 3 and the whole time he was out to cause Daniel suffering and pain. Even if it meant killing Daniel which nearly happened. During the scene when Mike Barnes had Daniel and his friend dangling over a deadly drop to try and get him to sign the contract. Even though Barnes did that I am convinced Terry Silver told him to do that. We also much not forget Terry had his longtime friend John Kreese framed and sent to jail. And Kreese was able to plan things in jail before he escaped. If he can do it then Silver can do it too. Silver also nearly killed Johnny after their fight and Kreese stopped Silver. Which caused a rift between them, And during the fight between Tory and Sam at the end of season 4 Silver wanted Tory to cheat using quicksilver methods but Kreese said no. And Silver did nearly kill Chosen during their fight. Plus he assaulted stingray and tried to bribe that referee to look the other way and give Tory the win despite she found out Silver cheated and she didnt want the win that way. And I believe off this and his assault on stingray he knew in the event he would need a back up plan if he did get taken down. Tory goes public about what Silver tried to get away with. Silver in turn wrecks havoc on her life. Thats the Terry Silver way. He is nuts. I have no doubt he caused this. And dont forget he could have found out Torys family history when he visited the hospital one time when Johnny and Miguels mom were there about their baby they were going to have. Silver even could have bribed the doctors to make up fake reports. Silver also had been known to bribe people to get away with things like his toxic waste dumping he did in Karate Kid 3 when he said he would bribe a person to look the other way
@@AFanOfRUclips-eh2cn Terry is a psychopath, I think he was arguably worse in KK3 than in CK, but even then I don’t think he’d go that far to really kill them. He wanted Daniel in pain and suffering, and that’s bad enough but not killing necessarily.
Also when Mike was dangling Daniel over the mountain, he was bluffing that he wouldn’t pull him up if he didn’t sign it, but Daniel didn’t know. Hypothetically if Mike did not pull Daniel or Jessica up from the mountains, then they’d die and Mike wouldn’t get his earnings and good luck to him escaping murder.
Terry didn’t intend on killing Daniel in CK. I think he wanted Johnny dead because he said “finish him”, but that could’ve meant maybe being beaten into a coma. Chozen I think would be the one he’d want to kill but only because he made it clear that he’d make Terry beg for mercy. Terry did also say any violence would justified since he’s the one getting provoked in his own property, so it was pretty clear it’d be a fight to the death if Chozen would not leave.
Terry has all the motive in the world for getting revenge on Tory, but I don’t even think he’d go that far as to murdering her Mother. Why not go for the target himself? Terry planned to traumatize Daniel in KK3. He’s also in jail and even with his connections, it’d still be very hard for him to pull it off regardless how rich he is. Also seriously, all this because of the sekai tournament? Cobra Kai was still in the tournament btw, they didn’t get disqualified, the all Valley win just got overruled.
Kreese has problems but one thing about him is he RESPECTS WOMEN!!! I think we are seeing the inverse of Johnny & Daniel with Sam & Tory. Back in the original film, Daniel was the underdog Miyagi Do student who moved to a new place, was poor and had no friends while being bullied by the karate king on the block Johnny. When you look at Sam & Tory, it is clear who the underdog student is and it's the Cobra Kai student whose had to fight for everything in her life compared to the Miyagi Do student who has a rich loving family and nice house.
From a livelihood standpoint the two couldn't be more different in complete favor of Sam. Tory needs the title while Samantha wants it. I think Tory is Kreese's redemption arc cause I believe he knows he's going to die from the bite he took from the Cobra and wants to go out on a good note as he does seem to truly care about Tory's best interest compared to Johnny where all he cared about was using him to bully and torment Daniel & Miyagi. Kreese dying would allow Johnny to potentially take back Cobra Kai, own a business possibly letting Tory become a sensei
People never talk about sliver doing all of this, it makes the most sense because she is one of the reasons why sliver was put to jail I can’t see kreese killing her mom he’s always wanted hey take the extra step that’s a whole new low the only person I see going lower is Sliver

I could see this happening again. Kim will be upset by it and then she in turn tells her grandfather who will not like to hear he's showing any kind of mercy.
It is more likely that Kreese got to know about the death of Tory's mom before Tory but used that as an opportunity to get Tory back on his side.
How would he know? And why wouldn’t he tell her?

2) His telling Tory to join Cobra Kai because her mother died would make no sense, instead, he counted on Tory finding out about the death herself and become emotionally unstable so that she would ultimately give in to the thoughts he planted in her during their encounter in the parking lot.
She died from a blood clot. Negligence of the medical system. And Tory didn’t leave Miyagi Do because of her mom passing, she left because of the LaRussos actions. Nothing to do with Kreese

Why couldn’t Kreese have gone over to Tory’s house and injected her mom with snake venom that can cause the blood clot? The doctors said they missed the blood clot, so what if it wasn’t there in the first place at the time?

@@jaycedias8996 that’s one way to perceive it. Others will agree with Tory and Johnny. Doesn’t mean one is right and the other isn’t. Perception is reality and people handle things differently. Ultimately, i saw it as them just not wanting Sam to get hurt again.

Regardless of how it happened, we know she lost it and ran off with Kreese. This is where Johnny has to come in and relate to her. This is how it’s shown that Johnny’s Eagle Fang is beneficial when Miyagi-Do couldn’t help.
Even if Johnny let them fight. Sam would have not fight with tory because she would feel bad for her. I think Johnny also kinda of sprinkle salt in the wound by telling how LaRusso's are prefering same. In fact they are not

If Kreese ever confronted Tory's mom, what happened might be an accident. Things got an out of hand. Tory's mom got worked up seeing kreese that led to her death.
The relationship between Tory, Robby, Johnny and Kreese reminds the relationship between Thea, Oliver and Malcolm.

Yes, Tory's Aunt should be more of a suspect than Kreese. She wanted that money 🤑 & custody of Tory's brother for further income purposes.
Kreese was just in the right place at the right time to play on Tory's emotions. He needed a female champion.
I'm not saying Kreese, Silver, Tory's Aunt, Brandon, or anyone killed Tory's mom. All I'm saying is to enjoy the show. We're only 5 episodes in, so far. None of us knows for sure how it will play out. Don't jump to conclusions just yet. Those who only have one way of thinking might be disappointed when we find out what truly happens. 🙃😊🤔.

Unfortunately, that'd be such a weak set-up, since we only see the aunt in one episode, and there's not enough to go by to make her such a huge threat. Heck, she's not even brought up in Season 5.
I remember when you showed a screenshot image of a scene of Sam, Tory, and Devin doing kata together in the MiYagi DoJo and Sam and Tory are in shorts while Devin is in pants and noticed that scene isn't in any of the 1st 5 episodes of season 6 which means Tory will be back with her friends after the sekai taikai.

It was probably deleted from the final cut. We also got to see an image of Tory, Robby, Sam and Miguel doing one of Barnes’ challenges together from 6x4 but it’s not in the episode. I doubt they would make the mistake of releasing such a spoiler image if that was the case.
That theory's debunked by the fact none of them were in shorts in any episode in part 1 of season 6 and there's most likely an even bigger battle ahead of them after the sekai taikai.
i think it was kim because when she made tory punch through stone she was doing everything to make her mad because she knew how much power tory had, tory being upset about her mom as we clearly saw with same and tory fighting for a short period at miyagi do it enraged her by doing this it caused her to have enough anger to win for real this time

Guys a blood clot can be caused by a cobras venom which Tory’s mom died by a blood clot which brings us back to kreese who got bitten by a venomous cobra that means you can put two and two together that kreese killed Tory’s mom
Didn’t they say in a recent interview saying that any good left in Kreese’s heart is gone? And after the cave scene he shed all the sympathy he had.
Also one of the lessons he taught the students was the only way you can beat someone with more heart is to be heartless. Killing Tory’s mom is heartless.

Kreese evidently did it, because her mom was doing just fine before kreese finds Tory and tries to get her to work with him again, but then after she turned him down, she later goes home to find her mom on the floor dead all of a sudden. Sounds like he was behind Tory mother’s death, all because his feelings was hurt from being turned down so he had to find some kind of way to hurt her feelings back and it just had to be her mom because he knew that she was all she had.
I know you think Kreese is a complete monster. But killing Tori's mom is a bit crazy . Even for this show.

I think it was Silver!! My reasoning below:
Kreese is Evil. But we know that he deep down has a heart and isn’t THAT evil. It’s very stupid reason to commit MURDER. He also has a clear soft spot for Tory, he even calls her granddaughter. He sees Johnny in her. Which is why she’s his favorite. He wouldn’t go so far to kill her mother, just because of karate. Another reason is he can relate to her, his mother died too. He wouldn’t go so far. If Kreese would’ve wanted her to rejoin cobra kai THAT BAD, he’d probably get kim dae un involved. We know that she pushed Tory into punching stone so I don’t see why she couldn’t have pushed her into joining the cobra Kai team in sekai taikai. MY THEORY is that TERRY SILVER killed Tory’s mother. My reason is because: obviously, we know Terry Silver is the biggest psychopath on the show. He would KILL ANYONE just for fun. And he’s done a lot of things to prove that. His motive is: Tory is the reason he was arrested, she exposed him and closed his business. Obviously she didn’t put the video on the big screen but she’s done things to make him mad and he was seeking revenge. Now I’ve gotten comments saying: “oh but he’s in jail how could he even-“ obviously he escaped. Remember how Kreese escaped jail? Yeah. Personally I think Terry is stronger, but not only that. Terry has lots of money, he is FILTHY rich. Which would make it even EASIER to escape. Thank you!

Kreese killing Tory’s mother to get Tory to join Cobra Kai would be like the equivalent of Madara manipulating Obito into joining his side by having Mist ninja act as his puppets and kidnap Rin to turn her into the Three Tails’ Jinchuriki, and then plan to have her rampage and destroy the Hidden Leaf, which would lead to her stopping that plan by ending her life on Kakashi’s Lightning Blade.

Here's my theory, I think the writers made Tory and Robby do that promise on purpose I don't think they just like wrote it there it has to have a bigger effect. I think maybe in the next fave parts or kinda towards the end of the sekai taikai Tory will find out something about kreese that will make her angry she'll go back to rbby, talk to him, and hopefully she will rejoin md (I do think she will rejoin becuz on the cobra Kai channel a little while back in the cast welcome to the official cobra Kai channel u can see them behind the set of the sekai taikai and Peyton was wearing the white md attire) so I do think she will rejoin and Robby and Tory will work together/get back together towards the end of the sekai taikai and keep their promise (I think it just means something) but I do think before all that they will have some awkward moments and kwon might try to get between them (maybe he likes Tory)plus they are each other's strength and weekness but all I'm positive about is that keenry will be endgame!! Pretty positive about all this lol
It’s odd they zoomed in on the clenched fist. Then Tori recalls it when she’s fighting Sam. With Kreese at another level since being bitten and saying he knows to show no mercy and claiming he knows what has to be done. I wouldn’t put it past him
I don’t think Kreese killed her mother. He’s done some terrible things and even though he did kill his Captain in Vietnam, I dint think he would resort to killing her mother to get what he wants.
I still think she did die of a blood clot and Kreese knows nothing of this. I can see the possibility that Kreese finds out about Tory’s mum and having gone through a similar event, will find redemption in being there for her.
Or it could be possible that Silver orchestrated this from Prison in order to frame Kreese?
Have you seen the new screenshots from part 2? There are 2 images where Kreese, Johnny, and Daniel look worried, but others are celebrating. Could it be Silver returning and sabotaging the Sekai Taikai for both dojos?
I hope so! I was thinking the only way they could use him is by him having his own team. And plus didn’t Stingray still keep some version of Cobra Kai open for those kids?

I think if there was foul play involved it was Tory's aunt or father. But it could've just been that she died of the cancer. Maybe she was clenching her fist because she was holding the bottle cap Tory gave her. But if it was anybody that came in & killed her it would've been Tory's aunt or dad. 🎬📺🤓
It was Kim. She did it secretly without telling Kreese. Kreese will find out and turn on Kim. Kreese will have a redemption arc in part 3.

Do you know what is indeed funny or strange? There exist a clip in which Tory told Daeun about her sick mom. Devon was there too. Tory used it as excuse why she didnt fight Sam in S5.
For some reasons, this scene was not published, but its here on YT on the official CK channel.
If Daeun indeed killed Grace Nichols, it was the right move to delete this scene. Because otherwise the audience would have known Daeun knows about the existence of Grace. And so, only ppl sho saw that rare clip on YT know about this.
And believe it or not, just about 12 hrs ago I wanted to post this thought about Daeun maybe killed Grace there, but my comment doesnt get published. They protect the comment section, the uploader is the official channel of CK. Could be coincidence, or they dont want ppl post that theory/idea because its true. And you gonna find it. Its 4 minutes long. The thumbnail shows Daeun with Devon and Tory. And after exactly 1 minute in the clip, Tory tells Daeun she has a sick mom, and it was an emergency.

It would make more sense if it was Silver that did it because Tory exposed him at the end of S5 about cheating in the all Valley. It seems way too coincidental, especially with the fist close up as Cobra Kai likes to foreshadow a lot. That being said I honestly cant see Kreese going THAT far. From what we saw in season 5 Kim da eun is more than capable and could have done the deed without Kreeses knowledge, leading to their inevitable split

Soon or later, Tory will know the while truth about it, that's for sure. But there's one thing I don't understand: why Tory never talked to Robby about her mom and her little brother ? If there's someone she can trust in Earth, it's Robby.
One another thing Tory needs to know better, it's the full Kreese's backstory. After all, she doesn't know him well, she has no idea what Kreese did in the past. Johnny could tell Tory everything he knows about Kreese, he could also mention to her what Kreese did to him after his loss against Daniel in 1984. And let's not forget Terry Silver. I'm pretty sure he will come back for vengeance in the S6 and reveal everything he knows about Kreese. Remember it: he was his partner in crime during the 70's and the first half of the 80's and he witnessed the moment Kreese killed Captain Turner in Vietnam. In the late season 6, there will be an ultimate confrontation between Kreese and Silver 'cause they both have a score to settle to each other.
Kreese’s backstory also involves being a very respectable and honorable young man.

Kreese prefers the troubled/more aggressive students. Johnny/that Korean kid who beat those other students.
If torys mum is getting better, then she doesn't have anything to get angry about which then causes her to loose her edge.
The mum is torys weakness. Like johnny was kreese's weakness, holding them back. The only way to move forward is by eliminating that weakness, as shown in kreese's hallucination when he snaps Johnny's neck.
Perhaps kreese used a death attack of some kind, something that can be done in a certain place, certain technique, like the kind that some say was used on bruce lee.

While I agree that Kreese wouldn’t kill her on purpose and/or attack her, I think Kreese killed her accidentally: I think Kreese went to visit Tory at her apartment and didn’t know her mother was up and doing better. And all she knew was that Kreese was an escaped convict, he probably tried to tell her all he wanted was to “help” Tory get what she deserved - but that stressed out/angered the mom and caused the blood-clot to speed-up it’s trajectory into a full-blown pulmonary embolism. Because I googled it and most that progress so quickly can be caused by sudden intense amounts of stress. So, she likely collapsed (dying) and Kreese just left. Because if he called 911, he’d been hauled to jail when the medics showed up (even if he left before anyone else got there, the medics would’ve told Tory some man called from her apartment etc). But when Tory later joined him, he just chose not tell her he was ever there in order keep her on Cobra Kai. And I think the truth will come out at the tournament at some point.

I just feel like the way Kreese reacted to seeing Tory having the Miyagi-Do gi in her bag, along with like you said how many times he tried to recruit Johnny (and after he destroyed hallucination Johnny, all of his focus would now be on Tory), and how the camera focused so long on her fist it’s feels like the Big 3 are setting something up. Like how they did with Tory secretly working for Kreese midway in S5. Plus, I feel like there would need to be a big scale reveal like that to get Tory back in Miyagi-Do during the tournament arc. And that would be the most realistic and in-character reasoning for it while still being a gut-punch to Tory.

You know, with people saying that Kreese would redeem himself, but still question if this was him, I think that can work. Show that he did want to make it right, but didn't realize what would happen. But he still feels regret since he could've saved her, but his pride got the better of him as well as knowing that he'd probably face jailtime again.
But the finale can see him confessing to Tory and doing what he must to make it right.

I agree. They made sure to show the fist and with emphasis. They wouldn't just randomly show her fist clenched like that for no reason. As soon as I saw the fist, I thought it was defensive. Someone argued that she had the fist because she was holding the magic healing gem(bottle cap) that Tory made, but it would have made sense to show the fist with the gem in it.

Well WP, when we are speaking about Kreese, I agree with you. But not when we are speaking about Kim Daeun. I waited a couple days now and discussed with several people, and I make little summary:
There is one thing which could at least be a hint Daeun killed Tory's mom Grace: There was a scene in S5 when Tory told Daeun she has a sick mother, so Daeun knew about Grace Nichols. But they cut that scene out. Because the audience would know this fact.
Its very good possible Daeun was in Kreeses company when he went back to the USA to get Tory back, like with a private jet or other airplane. And when Kreese was out to intercept Tory in the parking lot of the hospital, Daeun was at Tory s home and killed her mother. I dont buy Daeun suddenly has no problems with Tory anymore, and to kill her mom would be like killing two flies with one hit:
1) Making Tory freaking out and more open to join Kreese again.
2) Hurting Tory and give her a payback since she betrayed CK and her [Daeun] in S5.

If you dont know it, its a great movie. One of my favorite movies ever, marital arts, gun fights, chasings, drama, thriller, small love story, all together in one movie.
To make it short: "Kiss of the Dragon" is a riddle. When you see that title, you dont know what it is or means.
In the end of the movie, Jet's character, the chinise cop Liu Jian, takes out the antagonist, a corrupt cop named Jean-Pierre Richard.
And do you know how? When Richard shots at him, he hit him a bit, but Liu is able to take one of his acupuncure needles in the back of his neck.
From that moment on, Richard is paralized. Liu tells him with a quite voice what did happen:
"I hit you too. I put a needle in your neck, on a forbidden spot, it calls 'Kiss of the Dragon'. All your blood will go up to your head, but never come down again. First it will come out of your nose, then mouth, ears, even your eyes. And then, you will die, painfully."
And Richard dies painfully! He cramps and suddenly his blood comes out of ears, eyes, nose, mouth, and he falls down, face full of blood, the scene should be here on YT.

Jet and Besson were never known for such "magic" things in movies, but it seems Kamen likes them a bit. And Kamen is the creator of _The Karate Kid_ characters, including Miyagi and Sunyung.

The drum is also a kind of riddle. When you see it, you dont know what it really is. I needed 20 years or longer what this little drum symbolizes, the human body. The head, the arms, the torso, and it symbolizes the swinging torso and hip movement, and the arms hitting the opponent in the same time.

Maybe Miyagi and Sunyung fought in 1947. Sunyung injured Miyagi on his head, thats why the blood was on the bandana. Then Sunyung tried to land this "Way of the Fist" strike on him, which is excecuted like the Silver-Bullet, but Miyagi countered it with his best family technique, the drum, and was able to beat Sunyung with it.
And when it all ends later, Robby Keene fights Kwon Jeasung in a Chozen vs Daniel scenario form 1985, no tournament, no cheering crowds, this time for real (like it was said in the trailer to _KK2_), like Daniel fought for Kumiko, Robby fights for Tory. And Robby beats him the same way Miyagi defeated Sunyung in the end, the son of Johnny Lawrence getting saved by a Miyagi-Do technique, that would be like a closing circle for this show.
Very interesting theories and connections to Kiss of the Dragon. Others suggested Dae-Un as well and she is more likely than Kreese for sure. But is she willing to kill to get Tory back? I don't think so.

I guess the frenchman Besson created the love story between Liu Jian and Jessica (her lastname was Kamen, for sure because of Robert :)), Jet the fight scenes, and Kamen the riddle and the "magic" KOTD technique, which is a riddle like the drum and maybe The Way Of The Fist.
Not to get Tory back primary, I think that wouldnt be her main motive, but to hurt Tory as much as possible. Kreese told her and the students: "If you want to beat someone with heart, you have to be heartless", and I am sure Daeun is very hartless, not just because Kreese said that.
We will see :). But Martin Kove spoilered already big time (Jacob Bertrand and Tanner warned that Martin spoils the most) Kreese will get an redemption arc in the last part (E11-15).

Kreese is bad but I don't know if he's "kill Tory's mother" bad. Is he really THAT desperate to win at the Sekai Taikai that he would do such a horrible thing? C'mon! He's a madman hellbent on winning but to actually kill a student's mother is a huge stretch for his character. I think Kreese has a soft spot for Tory but no way he'd kill her mom. Not feeling this theory.
Plot twist: It was Brandon Nichols who killed her. He wanted to end his whole family so he could go up for adoption and get a richer family😱

I believe everyone realizes that Tory’s mom is holding the bottle cap Tory gives it to her when Tory is a little girl. I believe Tory was shocked to find out that her mom still has it and holds on to it until the end. And the flashback and the comments about we are fighters fuels Tory, and she wanted to fight. No new friendship with Sam or anything else is going to stop her.
And Kreese, as sly as he is, has already planted the bug that Miyagi-Do will do anything to make Sam the star. Daniel stopping Tory’s punch, although for a different reason, adds the water needed to make the seed grow, so Tory leaves. She has to fight.
I am curious as to what is in store for the rest of the season. It shocked me that the Sekai Tekai has begun so soon. It cannot possibly last for 10 episodes. What is in store after the tournament ends?

Imo kreese sort of got a redemption storyline while in jail in season 5 being in jail for something he did not do. Yes he killed his captain in vietnam but his captain had no problem trying to kill him for survival. I believe if they were going to have Tory mother die they would have shown Kreese or whoever killing her. Her mother was sick and just died. She got better for a while but she was on borrowed time for a while.
Some claim that he did do it, but not on purpose. As he tried to speak with her, but with him being a wanted man, she either screamed or panicked, leading him to do something to her, not realizing that she's still sick. Horrified at what he did, especially knowing that he could save her if he made a call, he ran off, saying nothing.
This could be what they mean by redemption. You can have him kill Mrs. Nicolas, but make it unintentional. But the guilt, of knowing that he strip a girl away from her mother haunts him, therefore the finale sees him making things right with Tory and atoning for his actions.
I feel that’d be very ironic considering Kreese’s mother died of medical complication.

After the fight between Tory and Sam, when she left, I remember Johnny said to Daniel that after his mother died he just wanted to go three rounds on the mat. This resonated with Daniel based on his facial expressions because he also lost Mr Miyagi. Both of them lost a figure in their life and I believe they will tell Tory about these especially when she told them that they don't understand and never will understand. This opens the way, parallel to Sam wanting to fight for closure. I believe they will relate to Tory in that sense and maybe they all would find closure albeit at different times but nonetheless
IF you went with the venom theory, it wouldn't pan out.
If Venom is eaten, it won't affect you UNLESS in its course, it gets into a perforation that goes to the bloodstream, or if it's directly injected to the bloodstream (like through a snake bite, or a syringe).
Poisons however will affect you if it gets into your system, regardless of HOW.
On top of that, think about this. Kreese met Tory OUTSIDE of the hospital. It could've been right before, or right after Kreese got ahold of a syringe, and/or medicine that would cause clots to form in the blood.
Also, Remember Kreese Eliminated his "Mr. Lawrence" weakness. But usually if you can shed a weakness, it's because something else takes its place. In this case, Tory.
I personally think Kreese is going to let it slip that he had something to do with the death of Mrs. Nichols. In fact, I personally think that Kreese brought Kwon and drafted him with the task.

There exist a scene which was never published when Tory tells Daeun about her sick mom. Tory says her sick mom was the reason why she couldnt fight Sam in S5.
Daeun steps foward with ice-cold eyes and says: "Mother????!!!! You are here to train Nichols!"
Basically Daeun showed she gives nothing about Grace Nichols.
Go further: I dont buy for one second why Daeun would trust Tory again. She even told her in S5 final she couldnt understand why Silver trusted Tory, because Daeun didnt trust Tory.
What would be the ultimate revenge to make Tory suffer as much as possible for he betreyal in S5?
Answer: To kill her mother. Nothing would hurt Tory more.

And to be honest I like you idea about Kwon too! Just imagine they flew together in the USA, Kreese, Daeun and Kwon. And while Kreese was on his way to track Tory down, Daeun and Kwon went to Tory's home.
And then Daeun said to Kwon:
"You said you can do everything and be heartless. Prove me now that you can do both things!"
And then she send Kwon to kill Grace Nichols.
I have not many doubts if Kwon showed up at Grace's door in a nice outfit with a nice smile in his face, telling Grace he is an exchange student from Korea, who is in the same class with Tory, and he wanted to thank Tory for helping him so much since he is new to American culture etc., I am very sure Grace would invite him in and maybe eat something with her. There was food on the hot plate.
With his skills, it shouldnt be a problem for Kwon to knock her out and then inject her that stuff somehow.
But yeah we will see. But I wouldnt be surprised if Daeun or Kwon have something to do with Grace's death. She died on the same day that Kreese was in town and Tory rejected him. Funny coincidence.
And this deleted scene from S5 could be a hint its true, because it makes sense they didnt puplish it, because so not many ppl know Daeun knows Grace, and even makes Grace responsible why Tory didnt fight Sam.
She was on an iv, i wondered why they said so much about her medication and need of an iv. He could inject her in her port for the iv.

1. Tory’s father was an abusive husband seen in the flashback so he might have come back to kill her
2. Tory’s aunt was waiting for her mom to die, so she might have decided to take care of it herself
3. Kreese would do anything to get Tory Back in cobra Kai, what are the odds that her mom died right after kreese tries to convince her to re-join the dojo, this isn’t the first time that kreese Killed someone before
