Andrew doesn't have to worry about things like this because he isn't a branch manager, he is the CEO! 🚙 It was not a _hit and run_ but rather a *hit and leaves* . Hehehehehe 🤦♂️
Andrew does the opposite of the typical You-tuber and he's still killing it. He always underplays the video title ... then you watch it get hooked. He never ask you to "like the video" or subscribe ... but you do anyway.
Hehe, yeah but sometimes i'm still a bit worried when Levi gets close to a running machine and Andrew cant see him properly. (Behind the skidd steer for example) I mean, i know that they both, Andrew AND Levi are very careful and watch out for each other but i'm still worried sometimes.
I once saw an Andrew comment where he said he only posts videos of full stories, even if it means waiting months for an end result, others would milk it for several videos so that alone makes him my favourite youtuber by far!
Looks like Andrew has NEW boots. I would have thought he would have taken the old worn out ones, re-oiled them, re-stitched them, grafted soles and heels from a "parts boot" and said....that's fixed. Keep the videos coming Andrew...the best on You Tube.
That'll be his next video. "These boots have been nice and I could buy some new ones, but I think I can fix them and make them even better instead. Let's get to work." Makes an hour long video about fixing them and then using them.
Andrew commented in the past how different the metal is in this Montero. At least the frame and body. He says the frame hasn't rusted significantly while his other vehicles rust on par with the rest of NY's cars.
This guy is absolutely amazing. Nothing is ever a problem for him and I respect that.... If I ever had to take that fuel tank apart and put it back together again I would be a nervous wreck with severe anxiety that there would be a fire and that everything would fall apart before I got it back together... that the electrical systems and wiring would fail and then... How do you even remember how to put it back together??? Maybe the problem is that I think too much but because of it I have to get a new car every 2 to 3 years. Once a mechanic has to do any kind of major repair on my car I don't trust to drive it anymore.
Hi from New Zealand. 'We got this tree in the road right here'. SMASH!!! I love it. But I loved the jet ski leap over the wake at the end. That was serious air!
That’s exactly right a fuel tank drain plug would be awesome on vehicles so you don’t have to drop the tank to get the crap out of it and the water out of it and also like you said if you can have access to the fuel pump I can’t stand that I have to drop a fuel tank to get a fuel pump out it’s ridiculous they make the cars and trucks like they don’t want them to be worked on , And yes the nickel copper is good stuff I like using that,Good job Andrew
I think I would have changed the 15 year old pump while it was apart, 15 years is a long time for a fuel pump so I think you will be revisiting this in the not to distant future . Nice of you to put the hitch on for a friend ...you are the MAN.

It's really refreshing to see you demonstrating the MacGyver ability. Thank you for making excellent content and reminding us that we can rely on ourselves to get the job done!
I have a 20 year old mitsi, I can see it doing another 20, unless I kill the clutch, cause I'm no Andrew and I'm not paying for that job lol, but its 20 and not slipping yet so it should last awhile. Haven't had to fix a 20th of what Andrew has on his, but we have no salt, and I don't thrash it like Andrew does lol. Plus when it makes noises I just turn the music up :)
My first car was a 1969 Firebird. And the trunk was so rusted out that it rusted a hole in the top of the gas tank. When you fill it full you smell gasoline inside the car. I use J-B Weld and cut a section of pop can out and laid it on top there after I coat it with J-B Weld and then coated the top of the pop can piece with J-B Weld. Drove the car for another nine years with zero trouble. Also patch the bottom of the tank the same exact way. Never had any trouble! Thanks Andrew love the video.
One product I always use on electrical connectors is die-electric grease. With you being in the salt, it might really be helpful. Just a thought. Great videos, as always!
Man what else all in a day's work. Fuel pump repair, install toll hitch, and little time for relaxation. This channel is the only channel I could stay and watch From the beginning till the end and still want more.

Glad to see the fire extinguisher on scene and no job is too big for AC. A great fix but I was beginning to think he would need to replace everything up to the injectors. Optimism is believing he will have that vehicle in another 15-20 years without the steel tank rusting through and needing a case of JB Weld. The trailer wiring was installed "top shelf" and keeping the connector in the trunk is excellent advice.
Andrew got a little bit of everything in this video. Fixing his equipment, what automakers should use so repairs aren't so frequent, plenty of Levi, helping out a friend by installing a trailer hitch and jetski riding. Second time I have watch this one. Biding my time waiting for new castle roof video(s) to come out. It must be great just discovering Andrew's channel. You can watch a different video every day of the year, since he has so many, already.
I love your access panel opinion. My GMC broke surrounded in ice and frigid.. I needed a generator in the rural spot it was stuck in to cut hole. I also added a panel that can take full weight of someone stepping in the wrong spot.
My first vehicle was an 86 dodge colt with a 5 speed. It had a bearing that blew out the side of the race. A new race,a couple of dowels drilled into the case and some JB Weld got it back going. It went on to put at least 75k miles after with no problems. JB is amazing stuff
Andrew never fails. At age 64 and on a walker, the only tool in my toolbox is my checkbook. LOL. I have to pay someone else to fix things for me. Recently, I have visited Harbor Freight a couple of times. Spent some money there, all because of Andrew mentions them in some of his videos. Now, Levi and one of his girlfriends need to get a Levi Jr. on the schedule.
I've never seen Levi act like a dog and walk in the way of you doing things. Good companionship between the two of you and a very smart dog! I wasn't planning on getting a dog for a couple of years but Levi alone has made me consider it already.
Hey Andrew, Great instructional video, looks like you were a teacher in another life. Great job of using 2 hose clamps, I have found it can save problems later.
It is so fun when a simple 2 hour job turns into a two to three day, 8 hour per day job. Been there, done that. You did a good job it fixing the problem, and the details that developed. Remember, 'No good deed goes unpunished.' Especially on vehicles.
Thanks for having videos like this. I started watching because I like the digging and moving and driveway fixing part but I keep watching (mostly for Levi, let me be honest) because I like watching you fix things that go wrong. I like watching how you repair things that most people would go 'oh it's useless' and just get a new one. Just thanks for just keeping on and putting out great content.
Its nice to see that you had the fire extinguisher ready just in case. Thumbs up for that! That simple task can spare a lot of trouble and money. And youre right. I NEVER saw a car with a fuel tank drain plug!
Your work ethic inspired my hubby and myself to find and fix a leak( actually two of them) in our plumbing. Took several hours and a trip to the big box store to get the right sized parts, but its fixed and we have AC again on the hottest day here so far. Thanks!
Once again, killer vid. It is another level of satisfaction to watch the repair/upgrade... And then see it in action. That is a big part of why your videos are so enjoyable. Great job Andrew!

ahhhh Andrew, you kill me buddy "hey look at this tree in the road" as you bash through it lol love it!On a serious note I think your the only person I have ever seen fix a fuel pump/sending unit assembly, good for you. If you had ground all that rust off the top of the cover I'm sure the solder would have probably sealed it up nice but the JB weld is crazy good stuff too. I had such a hard time getting the lines off my 2005 ranger fuel filter that i ended up breaking it (much like you did) as the rust nearly welded everything together. Its really nice to see younger people out having fun on toys like you guys are instead of sitting inside playing video games all day, great ending to the video Andrew. Have you ever considered using the same method as in boats? Zinc-anodes. Weld some bolt studs to chassis and frame/ to areas where water and dirt (and salt) can access: Inside of fenders and bottom of the frame and chassis behind the wheels, and rear axle covers etc. And add some zinc-anodes.
My metal brake lines rusted out on my 2001 Silverado last year. Very costly to have repaired. Upon getting home I noticed fluid shooting out from behind the front passenger wheel. Took it back up there and it was a rusted transmission line. Had that repaired and sold it. It's great that you have a lift and motivation, skills to DIY.
I cut an access hole in the bed of my 2000 Chevy K3500 to remove and replace the fuel pump. I cut a larger section of bed from a wrecking yard Chevy pick up to overlay the access hole. A little silicone holds the panel in place.
I always replace the fuel pump with a high quality one and filter while I was down there, it's just worth it. Great job Andrew and love your beautiful pup.
Great video again, just a quick comment, that hose may be rated for fuel injection, but those clamps aren't. better to use EFI hose clamps (the ones with a smooth inner barrel and t-bolt type action) which clamp harder and not damage the hose. I've found with general purpose clamps (like heater or radiator hose clamps), the worm drive and sharp slots will cut into the rubber hose and cause damage over time. You'll often see the rubber balloon and squish out from these slots when temps are high and fuel has softened the rubber a bit.
Oh man, watching this video brings back such fond memories of doing this type of job on my '94 Toyota Pickup... Your job came out good and you used what you could get your hands on, but the one thing that I would recommend would be to convert to AN-6 (I try to keep extra AN junk on hand, it works REALLY well and you can get compression fittings for fuel work). I did that with on my Toyota (I've got vids on my channel) and the braided stainless line is SUPER nice, it'll last forever as well! And you are 100% correct about that fuel pump hanger, they are hard to find and can be REALLY expensive, I think the one for my truck was over $200. I had no choice, since my old one was completely rusted out. Nice to see you wire that hitch up the right way. Man I hate those shitty splice connectors!
was up in ur state the other day-went to the Empire Ag days in Seneca Falls,NY. had a blast too. thought of as i passed over the line. great video too. thanks
Can we get an AMEN for Andrew who parks at the bottom of the hill then runs up, places his GoPro, and runs back down so we can see him pulling up the hill as if he already wasn't there!
Sad that every companies want quantity over quality, they rather send replacement if faulty. What they don't think about is cost of shipping. I bet its cheaper to use right products than shipping nowadays.
I use them same connector on every thing I can. I LOVE THEM!!!!! I have used them on our boat trailer that would have lighting problems every year or so after 3 years and using these no more problems! All other connectors are unless and should only be used as temporary IMO. You should add a link to them from amazon in your comments they have like 10 different sized kits as well. I order the small set to test them and they worked awesome. I guess these are meant for marine use. I've used them on my truck, car's, boat's, Atv's for every thing from stereo, trailer, Ignition, head light, & ect connectors. If you get the one of the small butane handheld soldering torches with the guard you can get in some really tight place's with these connectors. Also you do not have to worry about burning other wire's that do not need the heat or are to close.
This was a double whammy, 2 jobs and fun at the end, great video editing and the drone footage and music at the end is superb, I love all your videos you are an absolute joy and inspirational provider, thank you for sharing and making life more interesting and wonderful.
I used to wish it snowed here till I started watching your videos and seeing how much you have to deal with rusted parts I don’t wanna live where it snows anymore nor do I want to visit lol

I enjoy watching your videos and you making repairs on your trucks and equipment! Keep it going Andrew! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love your pictures from your waterskiing, very cool jump. Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you and your family
Congratulations Andrew on 300K Subscribers.
I love in every video the dog just hanging out and supervising.
Levi a cute.
Very cool how you're always helping out friends and neighbors.
Andrew knows how to work AND play.
I've been a ase master technician for 35 years and I can say you are a damn good technician! Awesome fix on fuel lines!
For all we know, he flew the drone ahead, landed it with the camera running, and then drove through.
TWX1138 that shot really don’t look like no drone landed lol, it’s facing down bruh
It’s called editing the video
Maybe he drove to set the camera then drove back?
Man, this guy really hates cheap brake and fuel lines...
Who doesn't?
Damm Andrew you the man! I never would have thought you could drill those lines out of the sending unit and replace them. Got my vote! Jim.
I always catch myself straining when he pries or trying to loosen bolts etc!!! Thanks for the vids!!!
You need to sell a T-shirt that says "Let's Get This Fixed" Call Matt at BunkerBranding!
Love watching Matt too. Same energy. Can you imagine these two together. Watch out.
quality over quantity, great video andrew :)
Sad that every companies want quantity over quality, they rather send replacement if faulty. What they don't think about is cost of shipping. I bet its cheaper to use right products than shipping nowadays.
Really impressed with this fuel one fix from soldering to job weld.
Andrew always finds a way to make things work, usually better than what the "prescribed" method is. Good job, nice video.
300k congratulations Andrew
You live in a beautiful area really amazing!!!
Andrew, recovery was brutally awesome! Good job
The blowing on the fuel tank was so satisfying
Awesome bro! Surely u have more to upload don’t leave me hanging
