I remember sometime in 2005ish in St. Louis I worked a show when the drummer fell ill or had an emergency at home and had to leave the tour. I think The Vines drummer filled in, little did they know there was another drummer in the audience that night that knew every song start to finish. I played to this album for nearly a year almost daily in my basement.
I miss this. So much. The US needs y’all.

Fuck that's crisp. Few more years under everyone's belt - even better groove than before, if that's possible. Also helps that the sound mix is absolutely spot on.

dude I´m from argentina, I knew the band watching mtv 20 years ago, time really flew, recently last year doing something, I simply remember you guys, went straight to youtube and start dancing with your music, because always felt it like pure energy, and now you get together one more time, just thank you for your music guys, always makes me feel better and happy, the same thing I try to achieve when people see my murals and ilustrations, it is a beautifull thing to do, so thank you!!

The greatest live band of my generation. It would be interesting to see them look around using sequencers and more EDM equipment and like what Andy wetherall did with primal scream , to make a really interesting big comeback that might push boundaries

The first gig I went to with my mates was Blackpool 2003. Went a number of times after that, including a memorable gig in Warrington where the lights failed and they played the encore in the dark, but Temple Newsham was a different level. To be gone so long and come back SO well shows the class of this band.
I was at that warrington gig :), was a great night. I saw the music twice in coventry since then
I was at Blackpool too. Brilliant. Kings of Leon supporting.
That bassline is almost hypnotic. That day in Leeds was absolutely incredible, crying when you walked on stage. Please give us more!

I've seen lots of The Music's live performances on youtube prior to attending the Temple Newsam show and it must be hands down the the best you've ever sounded. Everything is totally on point, it has this live version vibe, but at the same time it sounds so close to album versions. I'm glad I've travelled to the show from Poland and I am even more happy I will be able to listen to it again.
