- Full closing credits from an episode of Days Of Our Lives which aired in October 1995. Unfortunatley I don't have the entire episode, but I can upload the section that I have if anyone wants. I also have almost the entire episode of Another World from the same day (it aired right after Days).

I never cared about this show growing up, being a little boy and all.
But I smile hearing the outro because, in the summertime, I knew I could go get on my mom’s nerves again since her show was over. Lol
She’s passed now so any little memory of her is special.
The show had a truly amazing closing back then. That theme is just gorgeous.

I would have to agree with you, because I too just love the closing credits, it's such a shame that so many of them is either not on this AWESOME show or have sadly passed away, Like Frances Reid (R.I.P) and Joseph Mascolo (R.I.P), it's such a shame that those two are still gone, along with so many other Celebrity's, Like,

After all of these years, the closing theme/credits makes me cry like a baby stuck out in the freezing cold in a foreign country. Maybe this is good emotional therapy----I don't know. Say what you to say about this comment. Still, no matter what skin color you are, we ALL cry about something or someone. Like it or not.

I would have to agree with you, because when I saw Joseph Mascolo's (R.I.P) Name at 1:20, I just broke down in tears, when I realized that he's no longer here, but I know that his spirit will always and forever be with me, will always and forever remain in my heart (and mind) as well.

In Denver Colorado Another World aired before Days of our Lives. I don't know why that was but that's the way NBC was scheduled. CBS was no different Guiding Light aired at 9 AM which was weird.

Hey, my CBS station aired Price is Right at 11a & Y&R 4p aired ATWT at 1p after B&B then at 2p was Guilding Light.
GCRams2 my station aired guiding light at 10:00am, Price is Right at 11:00am, Young and The Restless at 12:00pm, Bold and The Beautiful at 1:30pm, and As The World Turns at 2:00pm

Yeah I remember that. I also remember when KMGH aired B&B at 10AM, TPIR at 10:30 and then Y&R at noon it was odd.

The outro makes you think about every obstacle and trial the Brady's and Horton's went through because of the Dimera's.

I am pretty sure this closing is from November 1, 1995. The Wikipedia page titled "List of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno episodes (1992-1995)" lists Alec Baldwin and Brooke Shields as the guests on November 1. Getty Images agrees with this and has photos of Alec Baldwin on the show that night with that date. Plus, that was a Wednesday in November of 1995, so SeaQuest 2032, Dateline, and Law & Order would have been the NBC primetime lineup.

I believe this was Melissa Reeves and not Stephanie Cameron, because this was in October 1995, and Melissa left the character in December

I always imagined it would be stellar at the end after Executive Producer went by that the title design would ripple back in (like in the opening) along with the copyright beneath it. I never liked a show that didn't go back to the title design before fading out. Most shows did, but there were a few that didn't. It always bugged me somehow when they didn't...
I get what you mean. Before they switched to split-screen credits in 1995, Another World ended their closing credits by showing the title just before fading out. I never understood why Days didn’t do the same.

I wish I did. I was born in '90, so I was pretty young then too. and only found this tape. I've watched for a few years on and off (sometimes switch to Y&R), but I wish I had more classic episodes of both shows. It seems like it's gone through some crappy storylines lately, but Idk.

Yeah, it seems like they stay on the same storylines now, and there is less action. I hate to say it, but I've switched to Y&R, and watch Days on Fridays or whenever I feel like tuning in lol.

The announcer that says "like sands through the hourglass, so r the Days of our Lives" & then "we will return 4 the second 1/2 of Days of our Lives in just a moment" is McDonald Carey..

Never cared for this theme, preferred the one they used up until 1993, much more "classical".
Lol, was the same exact notes since the debut in 1965.... BUT digitally remastered, so is ""different"", even since 2010 when the bastards at Sony, NBC or Corday cut the Chimes.... Is the same, but now the Open is in HD so we see The Sun for a second!! Same song since 65, but remastered.
Like Full House shortened their intro in maybe 1993. Same song though. Lol
