@@SweatVenture your welcome. Just figured it would be good to point out because steel prices usually tends to stay around 6-8 cents per pounds while copper usually varies around $2-3.30 per pound.
Rideshare is almost slavery as they (Uber) Lyft take (half) of the purse leaving the driver to pay all other expenses from gas, maintenance and of course insurance....
I always though the rideshares should have a “recreational” dept. I live in a coastal area and believe I could make a decent amount driving ppl and their kayaks, paddle boards, etc to and from the beach.
Um the 2 ideas of door dash type thing is definitely not something you would want to use a truck for, the gas wouldn’t make sense vs a tiny car But thanks for the other suggestions
Yes, that idea was just included as a worst-case-scenario, i.e. the people who need money fast. It is not recommended for a long-term solution. Thanks for watching.
Yeah I have a 2020 F150. Even the smallest engine they had available, I still get awful gas mileage in the city. I have done door dash and I have to be extremely picky with the orders I accept, otherwise I lose money delivering food.
Best choice to accommodate your family and getting most out of it. Transportation, hauling, delivery, camping, 4w drive, cross country, so many things that can be fulfilled. Truck owner will always be Proud
Insurance costs can vary widely based on factors like location, usage, and driving record. However, you can generally expect to pay between $2,000 to $3,500 per year for commercial auto insurance.
Most of the suggestions in this video will not get you anywhere close to this number until your go not only full time but working about 60-80 hours a week.
Yes, many landscapers probably make more than that but it's none stop work from sun up to sun down if they want that money. Work your ass off for a few years and you'll be set for decades if you invest your money right.
That one comment makes the video useless? Haha. We're not recommending everyone do Uber full-time with a truck. It's just a way to make quick money for those who are need cash fast.
@@SweatVenture The title is also misleading and can be considered click bait. $5k per week for most of what you listed is unrealistic for one person. Deliveries pay like $50-75 at most, if u can get a contract. U mention on the side making cash but most people don't make $5k a month, let alone a week. Your tag line worked. It got me to click on Video. Granted i didn't watch it all when uber, doordash etc was mentioned. i am sure it resonated with someone. Thank you for making the video.
We have a different opinion of quick and easy. Doing trash hauling is easy money for me. However occupationally I am a Heavy Equipment Operator. So what I consider "easy" someone who works a desk job might not think is easy.
there is no way i would even step out my door for $20.USD a hr. want me and my truck it goes up to $1000.USD a hr. as when my insurance corp finds out the truck is no longer just a privet non commercial truck i will never be able to insure it again with any insurance corp.
@@SweatVenture The notion of making 5k a week with most of the hustles you mentioned is pretty far-fetched. I won't even address DoorDash and Uber. Even optimistically with a moving business, a quarter million a year , or $5,000 a week, is not very realistic. I could see doing those kind of numbers if you were running a roofing business or something
Does anyone know a Regional Hot shot company that provides the truck and trailer who’s hiring and is a good company and pays well? I have around 6-7 years driving semi, reefer, flatbed and dry van experience. Looking for maybe something doing Southeast and Southwest. Thanks in advance!!🦅💪🏻👍

Excellent
For the metal one, you do actually wanta sort them. Copper is expensive, so you’d be throwing it away if you put it with steel
Thanks for your input, Peyton.

Moving services is one of the most common uses of a pickup truck for extra income by providing a moving service to people in your area.
Agreed. Starting a moving business with a pickup is an excellent side hustle.
Fortune in pharmaceuticals from Texas😎🚬
Best side hustle for sure.
Don’t use a truck for rideshare. The operating costs will out way your pay.
I thought of this as well but I believe there are exceptions (a few)

Yeah no kidding. I learned that the hard way.

Doordash suggestion is funny, let me use my 5L v8 truck to haul you 2 burgers and a soda😂
I know it's not ideal for a truck, but people have resorted to it when they need extra cash, usually as a side gig.
im dead bud 😂😂
I mean if things get slow I'll door dash and pass out my business cards 😅
I used to door dash in my truck for money for modifications lol
🤣😂🤣 but a man gots to do what he can until further notice. Just make sure you got a full tank and more than two burgers.🤣😂😂
Can you use a half ton pick up truck
IMHO, you can find a purpose for just about any type of truck.

Scrap metal should always be sorted?
Ideally, yes
Pickup truck is best side hustle EVER
I would probably agree that it is the "best"

Plus if you own a reliable truck even better
What is that extended truck bed option at about 10:30 in the video??
Do you have the correct timestamp?
@@SweatVentureno. It's around 9:00
Ubers with pickup wtf
If you need quick or extra money, yes, but of course not a good long-term strategy.
So do you dead head back or do they set you up for a load back
What is the average insurance cost or range you would pay for insurance with theee side hustles?
My commercial insurance is very expensive where I live.

$5K per week? I assume that is an ideal/best week, not the normal.
The $5K per week just sounds like a stretch.
Correct, this is not normal. This is for people who want to work extremely hard and make some solid money by doing so.
Most of the suggestions in this video will not get you anywhere close to this number until your go not only full time but working about 60-80 hours a week.
How do you make 5k a week?
It depends on what you use the truck for. What skills do you have that you can utilize with a truck?
Is there a single human being on this planet who makes 5 k a week consistently because of a pick up truck …
There are plenty in the United States who do.
Yes, many landscapers probably make more than that but it's none stop work from sun up to sun down if they want that money. Work your ass off for a few years and you'll be set for decades if you invest your money right.
Useless video. Uber, lyft, door dash seriously? I get 10 mpg in my truck..
