We probably won't get too much info, that's probably being saved for Pokemon day since the game is releasing next year and may possibly release on Nintendo's next console!
given the TCGs more competitive nature compared to something like a legends game, i could see them holding off to reveal anything about ZA and announcing TCG stuff at worlds. if we were to compare the upcoming trailer to what most pokemon games first trailers entail (as the previous one was a teaser more than anything), those usually release around 10 months give or take before the release of a game. with that said, i can see a presents or trailer drop for ZA happening in september and then a release in march-june (depending on switch 2 release, since ZA will more than likely be a launch title)
This might sound crazy but maybe we could see Heath in legends ZA. I mean why would Game Freak give us some lore Heath in scarlet and violet who knows about the paradox pokémon, Terapagos, the first person who went to Area Zero, and never mentioned Heath again in the future. Since the legends games are about the past (so far), and Briar said that Heath is her ancestor, why not fully introduce us to Heath in legends ZA, please Game Freak let it happen 🤞🤞🤞
I feel pokemon z-A was originally supposed to come out this year but thanks to the delay of the new system from Nintendo they had to push back. That's probably why they gave us the little trailer they did. So we had something from them
I honestly believe we will get a little info between now and pokemon day 2025 before ZA releases in spring (maybe March or April). At the pokemon day presentation we will likely just get our final trailer to promote ZA and maybe a very light starter only trailer for gen 10 in November.
I wonder if the "Z-A" is meant to be read as a *list*? Like "all the Pokemon Legends from Z through A in one game" kinda thing? IIRC the "Pokemon Generations" series of RUclips videos were just little snippets of important encounters with legendary Pokemon throughout Pokemon History. Who's to say they don't pull an Assassin's Creed with this legends game and let us *virtually* go back in time to take part in these legendary encounters? Just feels like something they would/could do and plays well with the introduction trailer's style too.
If they reveal anything at worlds, it will probably be conceptual on the game's mechanics and maybe a regional form or a new mega debut, but thats about it
I honestly would just be happy if we got no news until 2025. Let them cook. Maybe they could give us the handheld games on the NSO library to hold us off til next year.
An August presents b4 worlds is 100% happening Z-A news will be in the presents we'll likely see the starters early gameplay footage as well as the box art I believe this game will be an early summer title so June
I still think we will get 1 or 2 NEW Forces of Nature for Legends Z-A. In the original XY games for the 3DS, Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus were not available in the games. But in Pokémon ORAS, you can catch Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus during the Mirage Spot post-game and trade them over to X & Y.
@@deceptionz_ Couldn't be a Lake Trio member. Too crucial to the creation of the world itself. It'd have to be a one-off, and something a little more recent.
@@theboywndr7078 No. Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus returned in Ultra Sun and Moon, Sword and Shield(DLC), Legends Arceus(Enamorus was introduced) and Scarlet & Violet(DLC) while the 4 Tapus only returned in Sword and Shield(DLC).
I think a future setting for Legends ZA is more likely than a past setting if we think about. For Legends Arceus, we got BDSP, that kinda delved into some lore of Legends Arceus. So unless we get XY remakes, i can't see a past Legends ZA. Like, we know the game is set in Lumiose City and that we are re-building it in order for Pokemon and humans to live together in harmony. We know that in XY (present Lumiose), this isn't the case yet. In a past setting, we cannot get new Mega Evolution, since we don't have lore in XY that we have lost Mega's. They already kinda delved into the future, with the Zygarde cubes.
I don’t understand why the majority of the Pokémon community want the game to come out in early to mid 2025. Like, did we not all just agree that the last few generations of pokemon have been extremely rushed and borderline (even beyond borderline!) disastrous? I think a huge chunk of the fandom have become so accustomed to the never ending cycle of new material that we forget taking a break is good. Now, claims about the track record of the Pokémon company or speculating based on the business side of the company regarding the game release, that makes sense, but the people trying to will the game into completion for a January time slot are beginning to frustrated me. If we want a better game, then we need to *Let. Them. COOK!* Besides, it makes so much sense to hold off on their next big game after L:Z-A until 2026, the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and the perfect timing for Gen 10 games. We know Pokémon tends to work on two titles at a time, so if they let Z-A be next year’s Christmas release, Gen 10 can also get an extra year of development to be the best it can for the big year. Game Freak knows that the games have been in hot water for bordering on a decade at this point and they know this next generation needs to stick the landing, so giving it the time to cook and coinciding it with a giant, nostalgia filled celebration would be their best course of action right now
I feel that they should either wait for the week after the 7th or do it in the next week before August begins. Why? Because that first eight days of August are going to be spammed to hell with Five Nights news and videos. Nintendo would do well to avoid contaminating the pureness of their own views

i am skeptical that we getting a Presents or anymore news this year. Legends Z-A was stated to be released 2025. Not early 2025. Just 2025. It is implying it won't be release in the first four months next year. I think the game will come out November. Other game companies had announced games that won't be out for a few years so why can't Pokemon do that too? I don't believe worlds would have news since the game is not competitive.
I think it'll be set in the future but an alternative timeline. PLA being the past & SV being a middle ground of future & past; this makes sense for it to be set on the future to cover all grounds of time themes.
It's been confirmed that Nintendo already has 3 major releases in 2025: Legends Z-A, Metroid Prime 4 and the Switch 2. But chances are Legends Z-A will either release before the Switch 2 launches or be a cross-platform launch with the new system. It won't release for the Switch after the Switch 2 launches. However, a mainline pokemon game has never launched along side a new system so with that in mind, I'm gonna say LZA will release before the Switch 2 (which is currently being predicted to launch in Spring 2025) putting LZA release in late January or early February 2025.
Lumi I’m going to call it right now. New Gogoat evolution at it’ll be a ram grass/rock type and it’ll be your charging and destroying boulders mon.
Honestly I just want the ZA starters to be announced that's the bare minimum I expect for pokemon presents
Exactly, at least maybe they could start throwing hints at the starters, does not even require gameplay
Litten piplup and snivy are my prediction
@@sean_da_bomb leaning more towards Scorbunny instead of Litten if they wanna follow the whole culture theme like they did with Legends Arceus
Then TPC proceeds to show a bunch of new Megas

Keep up the good work brother.

Honestly they could give us absolutely nothing but a release date and I'd be happy. I like having a set date to look forward to with these things.

I hope Pokémon will be Pokémon-no matter how Japanese it is. SV, even with the fixed glitches, is ugly on the design and empty on the gameplay.
