Getting set to build for the first time in 10 years since putting a 4770K build together on a Gigabyte board that is still doing well after 10+ years. I have the X870e version of this board sitting here along with a 7600x waiting to be assembled. The new board seems solid. It's 6 layers of PCB and without a full backplate but I won't be running the highest wattage CPUs or overclocking. Looking forward to getting everything put together.
@@Funkykit arrived today, great board, lot of features, everything working except i can't get wifi to work 🤔 I've installed all the drivers from gigabyte software utility but wifi connections still doesn't show up, need to figure it out
@@Bork425 I have exactly the same setup as you. The gains in fps for my 2080ti gpu are unbelievable coming from 8700k! BTW if youre running win10 there are no drivers for wifi7 for it yet :/
@@lukaszk2929 I can imagine, i've had i9 10900k before and the difference is crazy. Seems like they updated drivers atleast for win11, everything is working now.
Why would you even consider this board? For the same price you can have X870E Nova which is far superior for the money. And the sales are showing that. Constantly sold out even in my own country. You should seriously test that instead. The lack of reviews is simply criminal.
I own the X670E version of this board and it is the worst, in-that Gigabyte simply cannot release BIOS' that work, but rather, the keep releasing BIOS revisions that break things, and their support is completely useless(waste of time). That said, and because this, I would never recommend nor buy another Gigabyte motherboard personally - they are too expensive, and Gigabyte has lost all of its credibility as a board manufacturer imo.
Their support is awful if you ever need it, but this line of boards are fantastic. I have three different ones for B650 /X670 in my house, great, overspeced VRM cooling, and nothing wrong with them.
Never had a problem with an Intel Gigabyte board (or AM4 Gigabyte). My current system is Z590. Maybe it's not Gigabyte that's your problem but a totally new platform from AMD? Ryzen 1000 series processors went through some growing pains, too, before things got more stable and you could overclock better, and get higher stable speeds on memory with 2000, 3000 and 5000 series.
@@rbitrossome "totally new"? The B650 and X670 boards are not totally new, and they work fine. This guy must be new to hardware, gets one single issue, thinks the entire line of product is bad.

I just ordered the X870E version of this board on Newegg Black Friday Deals and it came with a free gift of 32gb of Corsair DDR5.
That’s a great deal!
Awesome review! I'm relatively new to the world of custom PCs and I'm loving all of your content so far!
Glad you like them!
Ordered it today along with 7800X3D, good review, thanks
Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the review! I am in the market for a X870 motherboard… and honestly, I wasn’t considering Gigabyte. Now I am! 😀
Nice. I'm building a new PC now and this is the motherboard I'm considering. Thanks for the informative review.
Glad I could help!
Really gorgeous motherboard.
great review! Thank you!
Thanks 🙏 Glad you like it
Diagnostic LED on Aorus Elite! Nice! Normally you have to buy an Aorus Pro or higher tier board for that.
Very nice!
Nice review!
Glad you enjoyed it
X line up but with only 6 layer pcb
Good board
7200? is that the sweet spot or 6000?
I think 7200 is the sweet spot 👍
I heard that for the Switch 2 too!

Previous Gen 600-series boards had a lot of issues (big story with ASUS)
But now these 800 series motherboards seems a lot better 👍
@@FunkykitThey appear to have had some additional lead time (CPU’s released a month before chipsets)… hopefully they have put that time to good use!

Just get 670e has much better features, and cheaper this board is crap.
