Or you could take the more budget route and get a MPC X for $1k and a Polybrute 6 for $1400 and skip the chroma console for a total of $2400. Does the same thing.
TFW you think he's flexing money in the title, but as soon he starts talking you realize it's the same good ole Wateronshirt we know and love, just creaming all over the place.

But what I do say is what I’m doing can be accomplished on a computer (which it can, because I do it all the time for commercial work). There isn’t anything I’m doing that cannot be done with some plugins and a DAW.
this is one of my favorite ones yet- i always used to introduce my friends to your music under the guise you were done- i am so happy i get to see you blow my mind on youtube so often this channel is a dream!!!
Yo dude, just wanted to say I lost track of your work after rap album two and it's so cool to randomly stumble on your channel these beats are everything, much bigger than gold clouds
This past year, each one of your videos has been the 10 most content and quiet-minded minutes I experience each week. The love and passion in the music you make is inspirational and almost tangible. You have a beautiful talent and are making the world better by sharing it.
I wanna start making videos like you so bad, expressing yourself through raw creation in live time is truly a dream. I may have only shorts right now, but with time I will achieve my ideal reality! Thank you for being the biggest inspiration, keep the beat tape rollin!
Damn using those sabbath drums as a texture almost like record crackling was such a pro move. I didn’t see your vision at first and was rooting for the first break you tried but you made it work so well. This one was probably top 3 for me.
This channel rules Jonathan. Been a big fan of your music for years, and when I came across this channel as a new beatmaker, I instantly subbed and now its on in the background while I work. My favorite part of your process, is hearing your reasoning and thought process on why you're making your creative decisions. Very cool and different than anything else I see when trying to research how to learn and get into beatmaking. I loved your video about how passion is the number one thing for new beatmakers to remember, and seeing this channel got me inspired and passionate to jump into actually using all the cool ipad DAWs i've downloaded but kept putting down because I didn't know where to start. Thanks for that. I wouldn't want to learn from anyone else. Your honesty and realness make it more approachable, as every other persons videos I watch, have frustrating ad breaks and sponsored segments that make it seem like the intention of the channel is profit vs sharing the best info people want to hear. I'm in love w/ the channel.
You cracked the code ! Wateron Shirt III, what an esteemed gentleman! 😂 brava! I'd have never guessed this one 😢😅 I like the beat Jon, its chill. Just what I needed, thanks mate
Since I started following you this is by far my favorite. Memorable track. Hope this one gets used and shared with more people. Thanks for sharing brother
What's dope about your video is your explaining what you're feeling and doing while you do it, as opposed to other people who just press and turn knobs and expect you to just follow along. 👍🏾👍🏾
I've been nonchalantly watching your channel for a couple of weeks now. I just noticed your voice sounds kinda familiar, and NO SHIT - jonmakesbeats is Jonwayne! God damn man, I've been listening to you for years!
This is probably Wateronshirts best Beat. If he ever thinks to start rapping, this beat would be lit (i kinda think his talking voice is already so fitting on this beat)
@@RUclipsUser256 Not really hating on TE. We thank Teenage Engineering for being around, so that if we buy a Minimoog, Sequential, or Oberheim, we feel like we're getting wonderful equipment for bargain prices.
MPC-X in to Tascam 388 is a great idea. Nice and simple workflow for building out tracks and sounds great. Though with the new MPCs you are definitely going a step beyond dawless, I call it more a DAW-in-a-box. Not that that's bad, potentially a lot less headaches over a true dawless set-up with a lot of the benefits.
