Love the videos, and appreciate the ideas of making jigs for the RAS.
I'm only curious, as a new RAS owner, is the angle feature of the saw not accurate? Couldn't you use the 90° fence as a reference and pivot the head of the saw?
Im guessing that would interfere with the rear fence?
The angle features in the saw are absolutely accurate. I am only offering an option to lock the saw into 90 degree and not have to re-tune every time you switch angles. It also saves the life of the fence and top as all the cuts are in the same place. Good luck with your new RAS. No matter how you decide to use it, you will love it!
I love your video. What is the distance for the T-track from the left edge? And how far to the right T-track?
Thanks! The left track is 4 1/2 inches from the left on center and the right track is 29 1/2.
Nice jig there Bud! I just found your channel! I hit the thumps 👍🏻 up and subscribed! Thanks for sharing and be looking for more ideas and projects!
Thanks!
Thanks for the sub!
I really appreciate the brief videos, no rambling, the facts just the facts
Glad you like them! Thanks
You hafta be an only child. There are more "I" "My" and "Mine" in these videos, than a whole day at the local daycare.
Thank “YOU” for watching! :-)
Nice videos, subscribed, I appreciate your craftsmanship
Thank you very much!
nice video----i learned something new today, and it is only 7 am thanx rick
Thanks Rick!
Love the table top for your saw. I am going to replace my top on a saw I bought for $60. I build bee hives and I can set the saw up with my dado blades. Looking forward to getting the saw set up.
That is awesome!
Bud,
What are the dimensions for the T Trak strips cut into your table top? How far in from the 2 ends?
What are the actual dimensions of your jigs and the coordinates for the 1/4 inch T bolt that passes down thru them. I was able to locate your actual drawing for these placements of these measurements?
Next, did I see a swing down roller unit that was bolted to the left side of your stand? If so where can I find this?
Finally, where can I find a swing down front table extension for extra deep work and to support wide boards?
Thanks

No real science behind this but the the left T track is 4 1/2 inches from the end and the right one is 11 inches for the end.
As for the angle jig; the t bolt id located 4 1/2 from the left and 6 inches from the fence.
I do not have swing rollers or table extensions at this time but have been considering something on the left side for longer stock. For now I have been using a free standing roller support.
Thanks
Bud
