- Andrew McCutchen returns to Pittsburgh for the first time as a visiting player since being traded from Pittsburgh to the Giants

Aaaaaand He's back! I took my family to the home opener, and when they introduced PIRATE #22, I don't think I've seen a more magical moment. That's the longest ovation of genuine love I've ever seen. Welcome home, 'Cutch. I will remember that forever.

Well a lot of yinzers (what pittsburghers call themselves) related to him and the amount of hatred toward the pirates ownership is absolutely amazing.

I'm a Giants fan, I was happy when we crushed them in the wild card game in 2014, but I always liked Cutch and I love the fact that they welcome home a former hero like this. this is one of the great things about Baseball
It was awesome. I lived in Bradenton FL watching the Pirates during spring training. Love my Yankees. But always liked the Pirates. Hope the Pirates can make a good run one of these season's
