As a Dodger fan, I’m glad Freddie is in the team. He’s a classy player, leader and great mentor to the younger generation coming up through the organization. But I don’t think he’s a Dodger through and through, and that’s okay. LA borrowed him from Atlanta. At heart, he’s a brave until he dies. Met Mr. Aaron in Greenwich, CT shortly after he retired and he was kind enough to look through my scrapbook and sign the page that had the story of his 3,000th hit and the NY Daily News story about breaking Babe Ruth's record.

Wow! I’ve been a Freddie fan for a few years even before he came to the Dodgers. I’ve always loved and admired his grace and class. Every time he takes his first AB of a game, as he walks up to the plate, he always greets the opposing team’s catcher and then the umpire. Pure class. So glad he’s a Dodger now 💕
