The best part about bad vampire books is how they can be so bad that they go back to being fantastic!
exactly!! love them so much
i love how katie is so consistent , most youtubers post once in 15 days , she even has school , respect to her!
thank you🥺🥺
Way to be a queen reading all these books while having school LOL. I’m not ready for October to be over yet 😭 I also really enjoyed enchantment of ravens and liked that the fae had uglier forms. It made it stand out more. I only got like 2 books completed though I did start a few others. I’m currently listening to Gideon the 9th and it’s been a WILD time XD
yeah i dont know what was in the water in october but i just wanted to read everything haha! (i am also not ready for october to be over though😭) i hope you're enjoying gideon the 9th, the concept of that one seems really cool and i want to read it at some point for myself!
@@katieisreading yah it’s been really funny so far and I’m enjoying the characters. I definitely recommend the audiobook for whenever you get into it. It’s very well done
Even though i didn't read a lot of books this October i will say that my favourite was Mina and the slayers 💜🦇
that one was on my october tbr but i sadly didnt get to it this month, i'm so glad you enjoyed it though!!!🖤
you are making me pick up the vampire academy! i really need a fun trashy series. i picked up the shatter me series bcs of you and im finishing it up now and i had soooo much fun, so i need a new fun series haha
YES you should omg it is such a fun time!! shatter me is also so good ,i''m so glad you enjoyed that one!!
My favorites this month are actually both by T. Kingfisher. Minor Mage and Nettle and Bone. I absolutely love her writing and I just picked up A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking and I'm so excited to read it. Her books give all the fall vibes you want. I highly recommend them.
i've been wanting to read something by t. kingfisher for so long! i feel like i have heard nothing but good things about all of her work! i definitely will have to check both of those out, thanks!!
i love video's like these so much it's so comforting
thank you so much!!🥺
I was literally wanting to rewatch some of your videos! Perfect timing as always💕
thank you haha!!🖤🖤
Can we talk about how stunning Katie looks?!!! 🥹🥹🥹❤️so beautiful!
omg thank you so much🥺🖤
Omg I LOVE sorcery of thorns and you look a lot like how i imagine Elizabeth fbamhdks
its so good!! and thats so fun haha!!!
Watching you talk about the ugly side of fays reminded me of Wicked Lovely’s series by Melissa Marr that I read the first book years ago. ❤ I intend to reread it so I can finish this series.
ooh i will have to check this series out!!
I had so many greats reads this month: legendborn, belladonna, the shades of magic series and the atlas paradox !
i want to read belladonna so badly! but all of those are great picks🖤🖤
I love how much you post🤍🤍
I love the cover on Nature of Witches!
right?? its so pretty!!
Something Wicked this Way Comes is a tricky book to read. I read it on a second attempt because of how weird it is. I also had to pace myself whilst reading it, to appreciate it's style. Very atmospheric and worth reading again ☺
thats great to hear! i am very excited to give it a second read at some point and really take my time with it
My favourite books I read this month are from Big bad wolf series by Charlie Adhara (detectives investigating murders with werewolves and romance). And I am also glad that I read The graveyard book after you recommended it, even though it wasn't 5 star for me it was so perfect to read in october
that sounds like such a fun series! i'm glad you enjoyed reading them, i'm also glad you enjoyed the graveyard book and got to read it in october, literally perfect for spooky season!!
Having the see the 5th book of the VA after you showed it to me before hurt my eyes 😶😂 (also cute sweater 😏)
so sorry that you had to see it again😖 and thanks ;))
love your videos!! also curious to know what your thoughts are on kindles, do you have one by any chance ?
thank you!! and i do actually have a kindle, i use it every now and then and i definitely like it for books that i dont really want to own physical copies of!
The House of Hunger was my 5 star this month! Amazing 👏 🙀 !!! I read it in 2 sittings and I usually read slow.
i'm so glad you enjoyed it!! i really want to pick that book up myself i've heard great things so far
Had to laugh at your name recall issue because- same here. Favorite books I read in October: Piranesi, The Pale Horse, The October Country. Least favorite: Frankenstein and this was my second October attempt-too angsty a main character for me. I much prefer the movie Young Frankenstein😊. Looking forward to your reading more in Throne of Glass series which I reread this year and appreciated more the second time. ❤🗝📚
as soon as i finish any book all character names exit my head immediately haha! also so glad you had so many fav books this month!! i am very excited to continue throne of glass myself, it's so fun! hope you're enjoying your reread!!
Bless your heart!! Lol I have found someone who had the same general feeling about Something Wicked This Way Comes - I think I also was in a rush to finish, but sometimes I didn’t really get what he was saying …. 😅😅 ambience was great but I felt confused throughout the whole story
i'm glad i'm not alone in my feelings for that book haha!!
Sorcery of thorns is SO HIGH on my tbr! And same girl, I can never remember names 😂
I always heard mixed reviews of These Violent Delights, so I’m still a little skeptical of reading it. Also since it’s adapted from Romeo and Juliet it seems a little predictable what will happen by the end 😕
yeah i still dont fully know how i feel about it honestly haha, but i am scared to read the second book for that specific reason... like i can't really believe chloe gong would do that but at the same time why wouldn't she?? much to think about
My favorite book I read in October is “Clockwork Prince”. My least favorite book I read this month was “The Paris Apartment”. I also enjoyed “The Shadows Between Us” which is a YA fantasy romance stand-alone that was actually really good.
ooh a stunning pick for you fav book ;) and i have been wanting to read the shadows between us for a while, i'm so glad that you enjoyed it!
@@katieisreading yeah, it was the best in the trilogy I think! Yeah, give "The Shadows Between Us" a go! It is definitely a romantic story mostly but there is elements of magic and fantasy too!
You should take Crave serias as a bad vampire books
Main character so much anoyng, but it's so much fun to😅
this series has been peaking my interest recently! i am ALWAYS down for a bad vampire story so i will have to check it out, thanks!!
was wondering when you'd wear your handmade cardigan!!
i forgot it was a thing i could actually wear because it's been hanging on my wall for a few months haha!
You should read the promised neverland! I think you’d like the mangas - just a warning it’s 20 volumes tho LOL
My October fav was The Ballad of Never After🫣 I gave all of the books I read in October 4-5⭐️I read 10 books which was surprising😂
i'm so glad you enjoyed the ballad of never after and got to read so many books in october!
I managed to read 4 books this month, which is not much but it's not too bad. My best book for this month is definitely A good girls guide to murder, I love that book and I need to get all the books in the series. The worst book I read this month is Things have gotten worse since we last spoke, it's a very weird book and it just keeps getting worse. I also read mooncakes and pet sematary both 4 stars book. And yes I'm counting pet sematary for October even though I finished it at the start of November.
four books is still great though! so glad you enjoyed agggtm, i really want to read that one soon myself! i've definitely heard very mixed reviews of eric larocca's books myself, also mooncakes and pet sematary are PERFECT reads for october, i'm glad you enjoyed them! (and the start of november is definitely close enough to october haha!)
I need your support guys
I did a lot of listening this month and less physical reading. My favexperience was listening to books 1-4 of the southern charms cozy mystery series. And my least fav was these violet delights only for the fact that the bugs made my head itch and creeped me out. I am in the middle of the second book though because I wanted to know what happens.
i freaking love audiobooks! also i need to read some cozy mysteries myself, but i'm so glad you enjoyed them! these violent delights STILL has me grossed out, i never want to think about those insects again but i need to read the second one at some point as well... i hope you enjoy the rest of our violent ends!
My favorite book I read this month was Uprooted by Naomi Novik ♡
i've been wanting to read this one for so long! i'm so glad you loved it!
Ooh! I’ve been wanting to read Sorcery of Thorns for a while but am kind of scared lol. Wait, question:
Have you read Ranger’s Apprentice??
i would highly recommend sorcery of thorns! and i have actually, i read the first two books earlier this year and really enjoyed them!
@@katieisreading Yay! The fourth one is my favorite🫠
🦇🦇🦇
❤❤❤❤
🖤🖤🖤🖤
My absolute favourite book I read in October was Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor. And I'm going to hold back from saying any more because otherwise, I will end up throwing a 1500 words essay into the comments haha
The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes was probably my least favourite (just in comparison) book in October, even though I still gave that one 3.8 stars so that tells you how great my reading month was 😌✨
again i am so glad you enjoyed muse of nightmares!! your enthusiasm for that book is infectious and it makes me want to reread the series already!! so glad you had such a good reading month!!!🥰
@@katieisreading 🥰
I feel like you look like the character on the cover of Sorcery of Thorns✨
really?? i will definitely be taking that as a compliment, thank you🥺
As you should! You’re so pretty✨😭
have you read the poppy war series?
i haven't but i've heard great things about it and definitely want to check it out at some point!
❣️😍❣️
🖤🖤🖤🖤
I read about 16 books this month and I posted my wrap up already if you want to go and check it out... I need to reread the Vampire academy here really soon it had been a long time since I've been in that world
i would highly recommend a reread of vampire academy for self care💅
@@katieisreading I might one of these days thanks so much
