- The Baltimore Orioles will be looking for pitching help, and the AL West has a lot of it to offer. Host Connor Newcomb discusses the players the Orioles could target via trade from the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics, and Los Angeles Angels. Thats not uncommon. Lose two or three games in a row and some of my fellow O's fans have a melt down and think the team is falling apart and will be losing 100 games again...
Scherzer was on Foul Territory yesterday and was adamant that he wouldn't waive his no trade clause. Not sure if that's bluster or reality but that's what he said. Eovaldi is the guy I have wanted.
This game is a great example of a team not trying to do too much with RISP and a team doing the exact opposite. This slump has gone on for a week and a half, averaging just over 3 runs/game. They've been a couple games below .500 since they won the series in NY 3 weeks ago. Quite frankly I don't know what they're waiting for, they have guys they can bring up from Norfolk. This lineup has two automatic outs just about every night.
It doesn't matter. If The Orioles don't hit Homeruns they don't score. It will another quick and exit if they make the playoffs
When you face the better pitchers , you must manufacture runs and cannot always rely on the home run ball . I hate to agree , but if they dont start taking more walks and maufacturing runs , will be another quick exit I am sorry to say .
I truly believe we will get more production out of Cedric if we put him back in the leadoff role. I know we want Gunnar to bat as much as possible but the payoff between a handful more at bats a season and Cedric being a patient leadoff hitter, working at bats and hitting .260-.280 is a no brainer. Move the rest of the lineup down one. Get more production out of the 7 spot whether it’s Westy there or Ohearn..
We’ve been playing well but we’re just more talented at the end of the day. If this lineup can turn into a well oiled machine, there will be no stopping us.
I do think we killed Ceddys mojo by moving him from leadoff to the bottom of the order. That has an effect. Plus, I’m not worried about him and Gunnar being two lefty’s at the top of the lineup everyday. They’re both capable
Nope. Cedric stinks. He is a waste of a roster spot. He may be a good defender but dude can't hit. The last time he was even relevant was the 2021 season. He has been ass the 3 years since then.

Mini slumps are expected in a massive season
It's been 32 straight games now that we're hitting .182 woth runners in scoring position with 2 outs. We are ranked 23rd in the league in that situation all year. That is bad, especially with the talent we have and the approach at the plate terrible, and everyone is trying to hit one out, it makes no sense, and when we aren't hitting homers the offense sucks and the number back it up. It also has to with hyde throwing terrible veterans into the lineup for no reason They need change to there a approach because if we don't you're gonna start to see a streak that yankees are going through
Taj Bradley possibly a target?
I would grab Tyler Anderson and Carlos Estevez from the Angels if possible.
