Wow, I read and follow so many Orioles sites/pages/channels and you are the only one who mentioned that Cole Irvin was DFA'd. Glad I listened to the end of the show. Also nice to hear your comments on Slater, because of all the moves I didn't understand that one at all. Elias never goes for a 31 year old journeyman who hasn't figured it out, ever.

This is better than what they were doing early in the season because they're now drawing a lot of walks. They will be even better offensively once Adley gets going again and Holliday starts to look like the #1 prospect in baseball.
Starting to wish we would have targeted a third catcher because something is seriously wrong with Adley right now, this is beyond just being in a slump, it's really starting to remind me of the Anthony Rizzo situation last season

Elias did the best with who was available! He said on last night’s broadcast that a lot of the top pitchers weren’t available & you see they weren’t traded. Trevor Rogers was a previous allstar & got hurt so I believe he is still bouncing back. We have him till 2027 so I like the move.
But we gave up A LOT to get a possible #4, more likely a #5. I would've liked a better pitcher or another player for what we gave up.
