The gallery of greats cards I like. However, I'll likely stick to my PC guys. I think a cool video also would be to do five cards that are undervalued and affordable for the common collector. Most guys including myself dont have thousands to spend per card. Thank you for sharing.
I have a A-ball Max Scherzer Visalia Oaks rookie. I know it's not licensed and all that but still it's his very first card. Debating on opening the team set and taking it out to grade it.
Is it coincidence that right after this video dropped someone bought one my Gallery of Greats Gold refractors on my comc? I should have raised the price 😅.
I have a 2012 Mike Trout Bowman Chrome Orange Refractor #1/25... I want to have it graded and Im hoping someone could tell me what they think it's worth. Thanks!
Two cards that are super rare and relatively affordable are the 1991 donruss elite and the 1990 donruss preview cards. Everyone knows about the donruss elite series cards (first ever serial numbered cards) but I think they will appreciate well in the long run with how prominent serial numbered cards have become. There is also only less than 1200 total of them graded by PSA. The donruss preview cards are cool because they are very rare cards for a very common set. Master dealers were sent a pack of 2 cards with image variations before release so they can showcase the new designs. 1990 was the first year of the preview cards and they were only 2 cards sent to each master dealer. There are only 140 total cards graded in the 1990 donruss preview set by PSA with only 23 PSA 10s. Again, these are cool cards that probably won't 10x in the near future but super rare and significant in the hobby
I have the 2019 Gold Label Tatis gold nugget RC you’re referring to. It’s numbered to /25 and I definitely agree that they’re under the radar and beautiful cards. Another under the radar card that I love is the 1998 Topps Tek diffractors with acetate and atomic cracked ice finish. Beautiful cards as well.
there have been a lot of complaints about the new jersey feeling cheap, i wonder how that will affect rookie patch autos in the future. or any patch cards really
I forgot about the 2013 Gallery of Greats... I may still have a few of those and boy, they shine. Thanks for mentioning the '08 Beam Teams! I have the Gary Carter, Felix Pie and Carlos Villanueva - maybe a couple others. There was also a Black and White '08 Beam Team parallel which, obviously, isn't as pretty. Great stuff as always...
I have good one I've observed for 2-3 years. The 2020 Topps Chrome Sapphire parallels, specifically 2nd year cards like Future Stars and rookie cup. I collect multiple players from the set that had RCs in 2019: Will Smith, Luis Arraez, Kyle Tucker, and Austin Riley. There are several other big names in the 700 card checklist. It has a relatively small rainbow of orange, purple, and red. I have rarely seen parallels of the players above. I own only a handful of parallels of Arraez (complete rainbow) and Tucker. Despite being #1 on TCDB for Will Smith, I don't own any of his parallels. I can't explain the absence. Maybe it's because of the large checklist with a relatively unpopular set? So yea not an obscure set, but certainly a niche obscurity. If you collect a player that has a 2nd year card in this set (I'm not counting Sapphire Update) then buy the parallels immediately. You might never see them again.
I am disappointed this list isn’t all Billy Butler
Love this kind of video, Scottie 😀 thanks for showing these!
Topps gold parallels are much older. 1992 was the debut.
You had mentioned nice sets , the sterling bowman sets are real pretty , thanks Navy J
Jeff Blauser and Mark Lemke are the only players you need.
Lol,who???
Haha the youngsters won't know them....how about some Otis Nixon
Awesome! I have the 2003 Topps Barry Bonds - Black 1/52

Scottie can you make a video on who you think you should invest in maybe before the season starts

The "GOLD" is WAY more valuable than the nonsense "diamond" chips... silly "chosen" ruse...
Always fun to talk about those early 2000's guys.
Thw 1998 Donruss Crusades would be an interesting set to tal about.
I would like to see some coverage of non-US reasonably priced newer issues.😊
Absolutely LOVE my gold nugget Nick Madrigal rookie card. It is my favorites Madrigal card out of my 500 Madrigal cards
Love the content! Keep, spotlighting overlooked and undervalued issues!
Appreciate the video. Always fun to see these cards.
These are always great lists you put together.
