Wow. I remember how easy it was to text in class with phones like that, a physical pad. I would just feel the numbers and count how many times i had to press them to spell stuff. Easy peezy.

My first phone was a Motorola. Can't remember what it was called but it was huge and heavy.
Edit: possibly a Motorola d520? It was a tank of a phone.

It's crazy what we achieved in 20 years !
I had a 3310, I had Samsung's monobloc phones in 2004 and 2005, then moved on to the E250 with the sliding mechanism, then back to Nokia with the 9310 followed by the N70 then the n81 and lastly the 3120 before I picked an Asha 305 and now here I am watching this at 1440p on my S7 edge.
20 years ago, not even the most powerful computers were as performant as your average Smartphone today ...

Getting my Razr felt like winning the lottery back then! But shame on Sprint and Verizon for ruining the software.

Amazing phone, I still have it in my shelf, doesn't work unfortunately. Back then it was amazing, especially that I also got Motorola BT820 wireless headphones for it. That was something :P

My first phone was exactly this and I got it from my mom as well...I beat the living piss out of it as I was bad with tech at the time..kept on kicking unfortunately all the beating caught up and last time I tried to boot it it was completely shot. I'm tempted to buy another one

I have one now that I've had for a long time. I only wish I could download my pictures and video's from my phone to my computer, however since it is a 'dinosaur' it doesn't have a memory card. I recently sent one of my pictures from my phone to my sisters phone for her to download on her computer and send it to me in an email. Wish there was some other way. Any suggestions?

Email the photos to yourself, then create an inbox category for the photos emails you send yourself. Lastly, mark the messages as important and star them, set the message s to archive when received, and done! Now you have essentially created a cloud storage area for your photo messages. To make it even easier, make a separate email just for the photos so that you can keep it separate from the rest of your inbox.

Mb (megabits) is not the same as MB (megabytes). 512Mb = 512/8 = 64MB RAM.
